Open Post: Hosted By Demi Lovato’s Vibrator
Demi Lovato is trying to come for Gwyneth Paltrow‘s gig by releasing a vibrator and entering into the coochie-pleasure market. Demi better watch the fuck out because Goopy will not go gently into that good night and will defend the legacy her son is so proud of.
Glamour says that Demi has revealed a collaboration of a non-musical variety, as Demi’s worked with the sex toy company, Bellesa, to come up with the Demi Wand. Demi said in their Instagram post, they wanted to “take the stigma away from pleasure.” And on Bellesa’s official site they have a quote from Demi saying:
“There is nothing more empowering than taking your pleasure into your own hands. We have spent far too long pretending we are not sexual beings–it’s time for us to put this stigma to rest. We are all deserving of pleasure. We are all deserving of orgasms.”
But per a press release from Bellesa, the Demi Wand is the company’s “smallest & quietest wand vibrator.” The site called it “whisper quiet,” and the charging case “discreet.” Um, mixed messages! Why the discretion if you’re taking away stigma? It should be yelling a Demi Lovato vocal run each time it turns on–let the people know! The press release read in part:
“We joined forces to launch the Demi Wand, advocating for sexual wellness and pleasure for people of all genders. Demi Lovato is the most influential person to ever launch a signature pleasure product, marking a monumental breakthrough in bridging sex tech with the mainstream.”
Excuse me? Gwyneth Paltrow did not create a candle that smells like her orgasm and shill vibrators on every holiday list for years so that Demi Lovato could “bridge sex tech with the mainstream.” Wow–she’s gonna sue!

So when Demi isn’t terrorizing aliens for a check, Demi is peddling sex toys and pushing a conspiracy theory site that believes in lizard people. Attention is attention, and a check is a check, I guess. But when is Demi going to use one of those checks to get someone to cut out that mullet. That’s the question!
