Miles Teller And His Wife Claim He Was Randomly Jumped By Two Men And It Wasn’t Over Money

Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh Sperry went on a couples vacation to Hawaii with Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley. And if I was on vacation with Shailene Woodley, I’d face-punch myself for making that choice every time she cheerily announced that we all needed to get up at 5:30 in the morning to fill our down-low holes with the morning sun’s first rays (I know, like I’d complain about filling my down-low hole with anything). But Miles’ face-punching was for a different reason. It was first reported by TMZ that Miles got punched in the face for stiffing a wedding planner of $60,000. Miles and Keleigh are now giving their side of the story, and they seem to think it wasn’t over money and was a random attack. But it probably wasn’t.

When TMZ first reported on this mess, they said that on Wednesday night, Miles was having dinner with Keleigh at Monkeypod Kitchen in Maui (pictured above during happier times right before he got punched). Miles went to the bathroom and while in there, he was confronted by a dude who was mad at him for skipping out on that huge wedding planner bill and so the dude decided to hit Miles with some interest in the form of a fist to the face. The cops were called and Miles, who wasn’t injured badly, vowed to press charges. That was TMZ’s story. Later, Keleigh piped up in an Instagram Story to set the record straight and to defend themselves against the accusations that they’re cheap ass scamming bitches who don’t pay their bills. Keleigh claims that Miles was not attacked over money and that two strangers jumped him in the bathroom and it’s happened before.

“The story reported about Miles being punched in the face by @TMZ over “MONEY” is completely false. Miles was jumped by 2 men we have never met after they trapped him in a bathroom. It seems these same men have done this to many people and we appreciate your support Maui.  This is now a criminal investigation.”

Shailene Woodley re-posted Keleigh’s story. And Miles co-signed what Keleigh claimed while responding to a joke made by WWE commentator Pat McAfee:

BUT WAIT! TMZ has updated their story and according to them, this was not a case of a random fisting in a men’s bathroom. One of Miles’ attackers is married to the woman who helped plan Miles and Keleigh’s Maui wedding in 2019. Keleigh even named-checked the woman’s wedding planning company in a Vogue article. Tre Lovell, the lawyer for the wedding planner and her husband, gave TMZ a statement and confirmed that the bathroom fight was over money:

“It is my understanding that the altercation was a dispute over money pertaining to the couple’s wedding. We are currently evaluating my clients’ legal claims that may exist surrounding the incident, statements made about the incident and the parties previous business dealings.”

TMZ also posted this video taken right after Miles got punched. It seems like a woman, who was with Miles’ attackers, was recording Miles as he was recording them and telling the Monkeypod staff to not let them get away since the cops were coming. The Monkeypod staff was definitely thinking to themselves, “I’m not getting paid enough for this fuckery

If this fight was really over a $60,000 bill, then Shia LaBeouf’s weekday matinee understudy (although, it seems like nowadays, Shia LaBeouf is Miles Teller’s weekday matinee understudy instead) could’ve easily paid them then and there since he’s got Top Gun money and was recently hired to replace Armie Hammer in Paramount Plus’ series about the making of The Godfather. Miles can count that bathroom punching over money as research for The Godfather series since that is some mob shit. And hopefully, Miles and the wedding planner’s husband will keep the fighting to the courtroom. By that, I mean Judge Judy because she’d smack down everyone involved in this wreck.
