Adele is seriously turning into like a fabulous, gorgeous version of Bigfoot in that we never get to see her, and when we do––always randomly and without warning––everyone loses their minds at how “unrecognizable” she is. As she worked those Sun-In-covered curls, a touch of a sunburn, and straight brows, Adele kneeled in front of her 90s marbled fireplace and a scene from “Black Is King” while wearing a matching $230 top to show her undying devotion to her God.
The TRUE elusive chanteuse shocked everyone by popping up on Instagram yesterday––her first appearance in over a month. And if anything was going to bring Adele out of hiding, it was her lord and savior Beyoncé. Adele gave a glowing critique of Queen Bee’s new visual album, Black is King, which made its debut on Disney+ (as part of that HUGE collaboration deal) on Friday.
The post, which Adele captioned with hearts and referred to Beyoncé as Queen, has already gotten over 3.5 million likes in less than a day.
This, of course, is hardly the first time that Adele has expressed her love for Beyoncé. After her album, “25“, beat “Lemonade” for Album of the Year at the 2017 Grammy Awards, Adele got up on stage and basically called Beyoncé God and said that she should have won instead. Speaking with the press backstage after the same ceremony, she said that Beyoncé was her icon. Annnnd, if her earlier posts from IG are any indication, Adele is the president of The Beyhive’s UK chapter:
Adele was reportedly going to put out an album this September, but that’s not going to happen because she’s still working on it. Adele names her albums after her age, like the last one she put out in 2015 was titled 25. I have a feeling she’s going to switch it up with the next one and name it 16 after the amount of times she watched Black Is King in a 24-hour period.
