Sour Grapes! Caitlyn Jenner Says “You Get What You Deserve” After Losing Her Bid To Replace Gavin Newsom As Governor Of California
Even though California narrowly avoided (further) international embarrassment by voting NO to recalling Gavin Newsom as Governor, if you bought one of those Caitlyn For California beer koozies, you might want to hang on to it just the same. It could be worth something one day! Probably significantly less than what you paid for it, sure, but I could see someone picking one up at a thrift shop for $1.10, which is the same percentage of people who voted for Caitlyn Jenner, as a gag gift for that special person in your life that you actually can’t stand. I mean, Cait’s probably going to be getting them as stocking-stuffers from her family for many years to come!
According to The Washington Post, as of right now, of the 36.1% of California’s who voted YES to recall, Caitlyn only earned 1.1 % of the vote, well behind front runner Larry Elder (46.9%) but slightly better than Los Angeles’ most glamorous sex-pot Angelyne (0.5%), shocking both Caitlyn and myself. Angelyne recorded a new anthem for the State of California while Cait’s broke ass was off filming Celebrity Big Brother in Australia! The Week reports that Caitlyn “expressed shock” that the campaign to recall Gavin failed but warned we’d rue the day.
Caitlyn Jenner expressed shock on Tuesday night when voters turned out in force to vote “no” on the recall effort against California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), telling reporters, “It’s a shame.”
The Republican reality TV star was one of 46 candidates vying to replace Newsom; with 62 percent of the estimated vote in, she received 1.2 percent.
Jenner slammed Newsom, saying he “didn’t campaign on not one of his successes, because he doesn’t have any,” and then chided those who voted against the recall. “I can’t believe that this many people actually voted to keep him in office,” Jenner said. “It’s a shame, honestly, it’s a shame. You kind of get the government you deserve.”
Well, that’s a nice attitude to have! I’m certainly glad we aren’t in such bad spiritual shape as to deserve Caitlyn for California. So on that, we can also agree. Here’s Caitlyn reporting live from her underground bunker this time (I assume, what with the End Times and all) and making her 1.1 % showing, all the more unbelievable.

So yeah, $300 million later and Gavin is still Governor. I hope he tipped the full 20% of that number for the most expensive meal The French Laundry has ever served. He should send a Venmo request to Caitlyn and the other failed GOP candidates and have them chip in. Especially Larry Elder whose campaign, according to The Washington Post, is already claiming voter fraud. Between the horrendous wildfires and this recall circus, California could really use some good luck. And thankfully, there’s at least one politician out there who cares. Take it away, Angelyne!
