Caitlyn Jenner Says “The Homeless” Are Driving Her Friends Out Of California
Caitlyn Jenner has obviously put a lot of thought into how she will help Californians of every stripe. Regardless of your party affiliation, Republican or ultra-wealthy Republican — it matters not to Caitlyn as long as you already agree with her. Yesterday, Caitlyn, who is hoping to replace Gavin Newsom as governor of California, gave her first televised interview to Sean Hannity at Fox News. Speaking from her Malibu airplane hangar, she let us know that no matter the size of your private jet, Caitlyn is committed to making sure that none of her friends ever has to make the heartbreaking decision between leaving the state, or looking at a filthy unhoused person as they go about their day. That’s her promise to California.
As if it weren’t already abundantly clear, Caityln’s campaign slogan, “Caitlyn for California,” is about as inclusive as the door policy at a private event at Nobu Malibu. Caitlyn told Fox News that because of Governor Newsom, “her friends are leaving the state” because of the number of unhoused people in California. Yep, they’re packing up their jalopies like the Joads in The Grapes of Wrath only they’re going the opposite direction. And the jalopy is a Boeing BBJ MAX 7. According to The Hill:
Jenner, who launched her campaign last month to run in a recall election aimed at deposing Newsom, targeted the Democratic governor for the state’s taxes and homeless population.
“My friends are leaving California,” Jenner said in a Wednesday interview with Fox News’s Sean Hannity filmed at her airplane hangar in Malibu, Calif.
She added that she spoke with someone who was packing up his hanger and moving out of the state.
“I said, ‘Where are you going?’ And he says, ‘I’m moving to Sedona, Ariz., I can’t take it here anymore. I can’t walk down the street and see the homeless,’ ” Jenner said.
And instead of pulling out a breast and offering the man succor like Rose of Sharon, Caitlyn just let him fly away to an uncertain future. Sad! But maybe that’s because Caitlyn reserves her “compassion and honesty” for those within the trans community, for whom she wants to be a role model. Well, she’s got one thing right — representation matters. Kids, don’t let society tell you what you can and can’t be. With enough wealth and relative privilege, you can grow up to become a colossal asshole too!
