Allison Mack Has Checked Into Prison Early To Serve Her 3-Year Sentence
While all these other famous men who went to prison for bad shit have tried and sometimes succeeded at getting out of prison for their offenses, Allison Mack seems to be the opposite. The 38-year-old former Smallville actress was sentenced to 3 years in prison for her role in the NXIVM sex cult which saw leader Keith Raniere sentenced to 120 years in prison. Before her sentencing, Allison was trying to play the victim and said she was sooooooooooo sowwy for recruiting, abusing, and branding women in a sex cult and shouldn’t do prison time. But she was sentenced to only a handful of years in prison and now TMZ says she checked into the clink early. I guess she wants to call dibs on the top bunk bed.
Back in 2018, Allison was arrested and pleaded not guilty to her role in the NXIVM cult. NXIVM portrayed itself as some kind of MLM self-help group, but within NXIVM was a sex cult where victims were groomed as sex slaves for Keith and were branded. The branding was a hot topic of Allison’s charges, as she claimed to be the one to come up with the idea of branding a combo of Allison and Keith’s initials on the women’s bodies. Many saw it as her trying to shield Keith. But Allison then provided prosecutors with audio of Keith talking about the branding in hopes of getting a lighter punishment.
Allison wanted to get a head start on her sentence and checked in more than two weeks early to the same prison where Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman served their time. Oh good, non-violent financial criminals in the same prison as a sex cult abuser–sounds right!
Allison reported to the facility Monday, according to the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, CA. She was supposed to begin serving her sentence on September 29.
Mack was sentenced to 3 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of racketeering and one count of racketeering conspiracy in her highly publicized sex cult case. She recruited and directed women to have sex with the leader of the cult.
After her release… Allison will be on supervised release for another 3 years.
Well, Allison’s time as a cult leader’s right-hand henchwoman has probably made her confident about her time in prison. She must really think she’s going to start a new cult in prison and live the next three years as the Cult Queen of the Cell Block. I’m sure she’s already looked up YouTube videos on how to brand someone using a salt water lighter and a shank made out of a Jolly Rancher.
