Allison Mack Calls The NXIVM Sex Cult The Biggest Regret Of Her Life As She Asks The Judge For No Prison Time

One-time WB Smallville actress turned big-time sex cult recruiter, 38-year-old Allison Mack, cooperated with the government and pleaded guilty in 2019 to helping 60-year-old Keith Raniere run a sex cult portraying itself as a women’s empowerment group called NXIVM. Keith was found guilty of several crimes and was sentenced to 120 years for all of the racketeering, racketeering conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy, forced labor conspiracy, sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy, and attempted sex trafficking charges he got. Allison was one of Keith’s Number 1 recruiters and since she turned on him to help secure those 120 years of punishment, Allison is now asking for no punishment of her own in exchange. Yes, the Ghislaine to his Jeffrey Epstein is asking for no prison time.

NXIVM started out as an MLM scheme, but within NXIVM was a sex cult of women who were abused, tortured, and branded by Keith Raniere and Allison who also abused victims. Well, Allison thinks that yeah, she tortured and destroyed the lives of several women, but that doesn’t mean she should be punished for it.

Allison herself was charged with sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy, and forced labor conspiracy and of course pleaded guilty. She was accused of recruiting women, as well as acting as the “Master” of some in the cult’s “DOS” practice from the Latin phrase “Dominus Obsequious Sororium” which sort of translates to “Master Over Slave.” She even took credit for the branding process of the cult, saying it was her idea. But despite all that, she was reportedly trying for a lighter sentence.

The Hollywood Reporter says Allison has now written a letter addressed to “those who have been harmed by my actions,” ahead of her sentencing in a few days on June 30. THR got their hands on the letter which said:

“It is now of paramount importance for me to say, from the bottom of my heart, I am so sorry.”

Yeah, when the shit has hit the fan and you are covered head to toe in flying shit, some of it has dried and you’ve adjusted to the smell, it’s actually well-passed when you should have said “sorry.” Here’s more of her cry for leniency:

“I threw myself into the teachings of Keith Raniere with everything I had. I believed, whole-heartedly, that his mentorship was leading me to a better, more enlightened version of myself. I devoted my loyalty, my resources, and, ultimately, my life to him. This was the biggest mistake and regret of my life…

“I am sorry to those of you that I brought into NXIVM. I am sorry I ever exposed you to the nefarious and emotionally abusive schemes of a twisted man. I am sorry that I encouraged you to use your resources to participate in something that was ultimately so ugly. I do not take lightly the responsibility I have in the lives of those I love and I feel a heavy weight of guilt for having misused your trust, leading you down a negative path.”

Allison apologized to “those harmed by the collateral damage of my destructive choices,” and said that she’s dedicated to spending the rest of her life becoming a more compassionate woman. The letter also included a memo from her attorneys which asked for no jail time because Allison recognized that she “committed grievous wrongs and that she has earned her punishment.” She also “publicly denounced Raniere (and her own prior association with Raniere) in the strongest possible terms.” Here’s more:

“That is made clear by Ms. Mack’s plea allocution, her decision to cooperate completely and fully with the government, and is further underscored in her letter to this Court as well as her efforts to demonstrate her remorse to the public generally and more specifically to those she harmed. There is thus no need to impose an additional sentence of incarceration on Ms. Mack to achieve specific deterrence.”

She absolutely should do prison time. You can’t recruit people into a sex cult, inspire a Law & Order: SVU episode and then get away with it. That’s not how it works. And to think, if Allison had just played her cards right and stuck to acting instead of transitioning into sex cult recruitment she could have been like a mom on The CW’s live-action Powerpuff Girls.
