Allison Mack Has Been Sentenced To Three Years In Prison For Her Role In NXIVM

Allison Mack tried very, very hard to keep out of prison. Like sheepishly twisting her hat in her hands, batting her eyes, and asking the judge, “Please sir, may I have zero prison time?.” But turning snitch on Keith Raniere didn’t have the effect she was hoping for. Allison Mack was hoping to avoid spending time in prison for her role in recruiting, trafficking, branding, and abusing women in NXIVM’s secret sex cult. But she got a three-year sentence instead.
After the 38-year-old former CW star was arrested back in 2018, she pleaded not guilty. Numerous victims (like Catherine Oxenberg’s daughter India) had Allison and Keith’s initials branded into their bodies. There’s not much room for any he said/she said debate when people have DIY branding jobs seared into their skin. When it was evident that Keith Raniere and the rest of the abusive ghouls who lured women into NXIVM’s secret sex slave off-shoot DOS were going down, Allison tried to act like the branding was her idea. That didn’t do much for Keith, who went to trial, was found guilty on all counts, and was eventually sentenced to 120 years in prison.
It was revealed that Allison, in an attempt to save her own ass, provided prosecutors with audio of Keith talking about the branding. She hoped her assistance would help come sentencing time. A few days ago, she delivered a pre-sentencing statement in which she said she was “so sorry,” that she threw herself into Keith’s teachings and believed he was a mentor, and that it was the “biggest regret” of her life. That regret cost her upwards of 36 months. via People:
Allison Mack faced a maximum of 40 years behind bars before stepping into the U.S. District Court in Brooklyn for her 11 a.m. sentencing, though federal sentencing guidelines recommended a lower punishment of 14 to 17 1/2 years. Mack was sentenced this morning to 3 years in federal prison, People learns.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of New York announced the sentence, which also includes a $20,000 fine.
Here she is arriving at a Brooklyn court this morning. Enjoy those fresh highlights, they’re the last foils you’re going to see until 2024.

The fact that Allison Mack got just three years is insane to me. Three?? And only a fine that would cover the cost of a used 2017 Honda CRV, for trafficking, forced labor, and abuse. And Bill Cosby gets released for rape on a legal technicality? Has anyone tried unplugging the justice system, shaking it a bit, blowing on it, and plugging it back in? Because it seems broken.
