Cardi B Announced Her Second Pregnancy At The BET Awards
Cardi B absolutely will pull the same gag twice, so if you’re a stripper who’s had sex with Offset, keep it on the DL because she’ll replay that jump-down real quick. But that’s not the old trick Cardi pulled out of her closet last night. 28-year-old Cardi came out in support of her man and his rap trio, Migos, during the 2021 BET Awards and debuted her pregnant and bedazzled belly for all the world to see.
Cardi B and her man, 29-year-old Offset, were going through some drama at the end of last year when she filed for divorce. But things turned around and Offset hid all the right phones and they put everything aside and went in for another round of staying married. I guess part of their reconciliation involved a lot of raw-dogging because Cardi B’s got a womb full of baby again. Cardi confirmed her last pregnancy by stunting on Saturday Night Live and she decided to do so again. Their first child, Kulture Kiari Cephus, will be 3 years old this year.
During Migos’ BET Awards performance of Straightenin’ and Type Shit, they welcomed Cardi onstage and she stepped out in a bedazzled catsuit looking sort of insane, with some 70-inch Brazillian hair trailing behind her as her belly was on full display in a sheer pregnancy window. Here’s the performance, and when I tell you these censors missed so many N-words.
And just in case someone didn’t get the message that Cardi’s pregnant and not just showing off the gut she (and all of us) gained during the pandemic, she confirmed her pregnancy with an Instagram post where she wore a custom-made breastplate by Pakistani artist and designer Misha Japanwala:
Offset also posted about it but he doesn’t have a cute pregnancy photoshoot to show us, which is a missed opportunity in my opinion. He can’t get a custom breastplate and pose?
Well, can’t wait for baby #2 to come on down and meet the world. I wonder if the new baby will get Kulture’s hand-me-down diamonds or fresh new ones? JK, we all know when this baby is born it’s about to buy out Saks.
