Rihanna Finally Covered Up A Matching Tattoo She Got With Drake

33-year-old Rihanna and 34-year-old Drake had this weird were-they/weren’t-they romance thing where it seemed very obvious that they were dating but then it was not completely confirmed, and one time she fully swerved his ass on television and it was weird. But during their little whatever romance in 2016, they got matching shark tattoos. Because it doesn’t make sense to confirm a romance publicly but it does make sense to get permanent ink jabbed into your flesh. Now, five years later Rihanna is with Sweden’s Most Wanted, 32-year-old A$AP Rocky, and while they were out and about in New York, people noticed that the shark tattoo she shared with Drake had been covered up. Too bad there wasn’t a live cam on Drake the moment he found out RiRi covered up that tattoo, because his hurt tears would fuel the internet.

Back in 2016, a source told E! News that the shark tattoos were of “special significance” for the couple, with Rihanna getting hers just above her foot and Drake getting his on the inside of his arm.

Now Riri and Drake are not friends anymore. Drake has worked with her ex, Chris Brown, and said they aren’t close anymore, and she herself has said the same thing. While out during her romantic evening out with A$AP on Wednesday, she was photographed with a cool new tattoo covering up her previous Drake shark:

Yeah, I hope that people stop doing this. I mean, I know they aren’t going to, look at Travis Scott and Kourtney Kardashian. People love a couple’s tattoo. On the bright side for Drake, I’m sure this will inspire him to write another whiny rap song about a woman who broke his heart. I’m sure he’s sitting over a piano in his tacky mansion writing songs as we speak.
