Whether intentional or not, Tori Spelling has been dropping some clues about the current status of her marriage to Dean McDermott, like going out in public without her wedding ring, and dropping the “Wife” from her Instagram bio. And while we can’t be sure if Tori has been hopefully scrolling Groupon, keeping her eyes peeled for a 50% off divorce coupon, we do have another sign there might be trouble. Tori recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live and was asked if she could shed some light on what’s going on. In true Tori form, she kept it as vague as possible for maximum rumor-milking, but she would say that Dean isn’t snuggling up to her at night at the moment.
Tori and The Deaner just recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. The traditional gift for a 15th wedding anniversary is crystal or watches, so here’s hoping Tori thought to toss Dean a new plug-in alarm clock to help him wake up from whatever pull-out couch he’s currently sleeping on. Yesterday on Jeff Lewis Live, Jeff Lewis was quick to point out that Tori’s wedding ring was back on her finger after a brief hiatus. Then he asked her point-blank, “What is really going on?“, and his follow-up question, “Are you guys sleeping in the same bed?“. Short answer, no. via Page Six:
“You know what? Right now, my kids and dogs sleep in my bed,” Spelling responded before confirming that McDermott is sleeping “in a room.”
The actress then explained that when the former Chopped Canada host left for “another country” to film an unspecified project, four of their five children decided to sleep in her bed.
“Since he left – this is not good, you guys – but since he left [and] he was gone for six months filming in another country, they all stayed with me,” she explained. “So I currently still have four in the bedroom with me who have yet to go back to their rooms, yes.”
Tori and Dean share five kids (Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau) ranging from 14 years to 4 years old. And with four of the five sleeping in Tori’s bed, that leaves plenty of places for Dean to crash at night. What will it be this evening, Deanerino? – he asks himself. The room with the floor covered in LEGOs, or chronic lower back pain from sleeping sideways in a child-size bunk bed. Decisions, decisions. Aw, heck – why not risk it all and go with the LEGOs.
Dean had spent several months the series Pretty Hard Cases in Canada, but he appears to be back stateside again. Still, no celebraTORI return to the bedroom for Dean. We still don’t really know if this sleeping arrangement is indicative of a possible divorce. Even Dean is probably curious. “Tori, be honest. Am I still sleeping in the house because we don’t have a credit card that can handle more than one $77-a-night charge from Motel 6?”
