Tori Spelling Had Money Seized From Her Bank Accounts To Pay American Express

Tori Spelling has owed American Express a shit ton of money for a minute and she still hasn’t paid them even though she made a little cash from the Beverly Hills, 90210 revival. I guess none of that money went to AMEX. Because Us Weekly reports that money was seized from her bank accounts due to a court order. The shocking part here is that there was actual money in her accounts to seize!

As of March of this year, Tori owed American Express $88,731.25. Amex filed two different lawsuits against Tori and Dean McDermott back in 2016–the second for nearly $38,000 of unpaid credit. The court order was thrown down in March and the money was snatched from her accounts in April. Her current owed-balance is unknown but I’m guessing it’s still a lot.

A writ of execution was ordered by the court in March 2020 and executed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in April 2020, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly. Prior to the ruling, the 47-year-old actress’ debt to the credit card company ballooned up to $88,731.25.

While it’s unclear if the money has been collected yet, American Express originally filed a lawsuit against Spelling in October 2016. A default judgment against her was made in March 2017, ordering her to pay back the amount she owed.

Tori doesn’t only have money woes with Amex. Tori and Dean are currently involved in a lawsuit with City National Bank over $189,000 of unpaid debts. Tori and Dean also owe $282,000 to the state of California in back taxes. And they were also hit with a federal tax lien of over $707,000 dating back to unpaid federal taxes from 2014. That’s a lot of numbers. Tori better find some side-hustles. And I don’t mean her drive-thru party business:

This is like if Pimp My Ride fucked your car up.

Page Six reached out to Tori for a comment, but obviously she doesn’t want to talk about this.

Welp, obviously those $95 meet-and-greets didn’t work out. Or maybe they did? And that’s the money the bank seized? At least they just took the money and didn’t try to arrest Tori like last time. With coronavirus spreading, it’s a bad time for an over-privileged white woman to end up in jail for financial fuckery. Lori Loughlin knows what I’m talking about.
