Kanye West And Irina Shayk Have Reportedly Been Together For Months

After Kanye West split from Kim Kardashian, I naturally assumed it wouldn’t take Kanye very long to find his perfect match (his reflection in a mirror), and he and his ego would be very happy. That’s not what happened. People started whispering that 44-year-old Kanye was dating 35-year-old model Irina Shayk. Then it was reported that Kanye had been “pursuing” Irina for a couple of weeks, which clearly worked because they were spotted on vacation together in the South of France. International travel might seem like things are getting serious to normal people like you or me, but Kanye is rich, so flying a date to France for a couple of days is pretty much the rich person’s equivalent to a casual date at the Olive Garden. But according to sources, Kanye and Irina have been together for several months.

Sources tell TMZ that Kanye and Irina date back as far as March. Kim and Kanye officially called it quits on their marriage back in February, which should feel scandalous, had we not already known that Kim and Kanye’s 6-year marriage was done ages before that. Plus, you know Kris Jenner would have happily welcomed some peak final-season KUWTK drama in the form of a KimYe cheating scandal. But it sounds like it was just two people who were friendly before, getting together in the name of convenient timing:

Kanye West and Irina Shayk were an item long before their romantic getaway to France, and the DMX memorial service was an early sign Ye was on the rebound.

Sources connected to the new couple tell TMZ, Ye and Irina have been together for months, seeing each other as early as March. In fact, one of the new couple’s prior hangout sessions happened in New York City in late April, when Kanye was there for DMX’s celebration of life.

DMX died on April 9th. Kanye put his fashion design skills to good use by collaborating with Balenciaga on a $200 memorial shirt. 100% of the proceeds of which went to DMX’s family and 15 children, and $1 million was eventually raised after the shirt sold out in 24 hours. Irina was seen wearing the shirt Kanye designed on April 27th, which was three days after DMX’s celebration of life service in Brooklyn on April 24th:

Sources say that Irina was seen in the shirt before the general public was wearing them. And how would one get such a shirt earlier than everyone else, if they were not close friends with Kanye? Exactly (or at least, that’s what TMZ’s sources would like you to believe). Irina lives with her 4-year-old daughter Lea, that she shares with Bradley Cooper, who apparently just wants her to be happy and so is probably supportive of her thing with Kanye. Of course, Irina and Kanye might not have been serious about each other as far back as March, considering many reports still list them as causally seeing each other, and being in the beginning stages of something. And, nothing is ever really a thing until either one of them confirms it with an Instagram post or a tweet, which neither of them has done yet.

Irina is very lucky she got with Kanye when she did. Just a few weeks later, and Kanye might have presented her with one of those ugly blue bloated water snake-looking puffer jackets that he designed for the Gap. “Oh wow, it’s gorgeous, I’ll wear it…later. Thank you” lies Irina, as she slips it into the back of her closet.
