Kanye West Might Be Dating Irina Shayk
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are currently in the process of dissolving their six-year marriage, which was initiated back in February. We already know that Kim has been too busy getting wooed by rich suitors to be spending her nights alone, summoning a possibly underpaid housekeeper to fetch her a single spoonful of ice cream from her apartment-sized walk-in freezer. But how has Kanye been handling single life? Well, it looks like Kanye might possibly have jumped into the dating pool, and he’s allegedly relaxing on an inner tube next to model Irina Shayk.
This alleged possible relationship is currently in the “unverified rumor” stage. The Daily Mail reports that a follower of the Instagram gossip account Deuxmoi wrote in with an alleged tip about Kanye’s personal life, claiming: “Kanye West is now secretly dating Irina Shayk aka Bradley Cooper’s baby mama.” Another follower chimed in, saying that 43-year-old Kanye and 35-year-old Irina are “def dating.” As mentioned by that secret-spilling social media user, Irina has been most recently linked to Bradley Cooper, with who she was in a relationship with for four years, and shares a 4-year-old daughter, Lea Cooper. Kanye, of course, has four children with Kim Kardashian (North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm).
Deuxmoi responded to both of those claims with the following:
“After further looking into this, I don’t know if ‘dating’ is the right word, but there is perhaps some interest there.”
So Kanye and Irina might not quite be dating, but they are possibly more than friends. Or maybe Deuxmoi’s tipster read the situation wrong and there’s nothing romantic at all. Maybe Kanye was seen at Irina’s place because she was selling something on whatever the famous person version of Facebook Marketplace is. Do they have a Raya for such a thing? But it’s not actually that random of a pairing. Irina appeared as a sexy angel in the music video for Kanye’s 2010 song “Power.”
Later in 2012, she walked the runway for Kanye West’s Fall ready-to-wear fashion show at Paris Fashion Week. And last month, Irina was seen wearing a DMX shirt designed by Kanye West. Not exactly the strongest evidence that they have spent a decade remaining steadfast contacts in each other’s iPhones. However, it’s totally a relationship that could happen, even if it might seem a little random to some. After it was announced that Kanye and Kim were splitting up, we heard that Kanye was interested in dating an artist like himself. Well, the only way that could happen is if Kanye falls into a serious relationship with a mirror. And Irina is technically a model, but I would also consider her a performance artist. For example, when Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga delivered over-the-top cheese at the 2019 Oscars, she didn’t loudly pretend to gag or roll her eyes in the audience. Even an expert performance artist like Marina Abramovic can’t channel that kind of restraint.
