Naomi Campbell Announces She’s A Mother To A Baby Girl

People says that 50-year-old supermodel and biohazard-avoidance queen, Naomi Campbell has added another title: Mother. Naomi announced on social media that she had become the mother to a baby girl showing off the baby’s little feet. I’m so thrilled for her and I’m sure Naomi already has all the little baby-sized hazmat suits ready for their mother/daughter jet-setting life!

Back in 2017, Naomi told Evening Standard that she thinks “about having children all the time.” But Naomi is a huge model with things to do, honey, so she also said that she would let science give her a baby when she felt like it, saying: “But now with the way science is I think I can do it when I want.” Then in 2019, she told the Wall Street Journal that kids were “not yet” going to happen but she would “see what the universe brings me.”

And it seems the universe done brought her a baby! Naomi didn’t give any details as to how this baby came into her life, but called her daughter a “beautiful little blessing,” and added:

“So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love.”

Other famous people congratulated Mama Naomi in the comments, like Zoe Saldana who wrote, “Oh my goodness congrats lady! What a blessing!!!,” and Marc Jacobs wrote:

“Oh my God!!!!! Today is the day?? How absolutely incredible. How lucky she is and how lucky you are! What a wonderful Mother you will be. Blessings all around.”

Congratulations to Naomi! I cannot wait for this child to grow up. When she’s a toddler, she’s going to be the absolute bane of her Kindergarten teacher. Imagine having a four-year-old drag your lipstick choice before she says to you: “Mrs. Simpson I will not be going on a time out because you cannot compare yourself to me, ever, and you are not on my level.”
