Erykah Badu Kind Of Tested Positive For COVID-19, And Yes, She Got One Of Those Rapid Tests
If you’re looking for life-changing, soul rearranging coochie look no further than Erykah Badu because her shit is so legendary she queefed out a fragrance in the form of an incense and whispered “gracias” to the masses. Unfortunately for her, COVID-19 was all ears and decided he wanted to set up camp inside of Badu’s bootylicious body as he has done with countless people all over the world. However, invading her body comes with a few complications. And one of those includes a COVID test that may or may not have been positive.
Because 2020 is basically the longest episode of Survivor ever, COVID-19 remains the gift that keeps on giving all of us nothing but grief and anxiety. And anyone can get it, literally. In that respect, Essence reports that while on set for an upcoming project Badu took one of those not-reliable rapid COVID-19 tests, and when her results came back, she tested positive. AND negative.
Badu hopped on Twitter and shared a screenshot of the results, which revealed she had tested positive in one nostril and negative in another. She says both nostrils were swabbed at the same time and tested on the same machine, which makes the results all the more unclear.
No symptoms. Was tested for COVID. Same machine. Left nostril positive . Right nostril negative. Maybe they need to call Swiss Beats so they can do a versus between them. Funny thing is , Dr. ONLY reported the positive result. What the fack is goin on here. Rapid Test. $$$$ smh.

Apparently, this is the kind of thing that’s going on throughout Hollywood (and Calabasas) with movie and TV sets providing the rapid tests in an attempt to keep productions afloat. I’ll gladly stick with my daily “covid symptoms” Google search twice a day each time I cough or return home from a trip to Walmart with the unmasked masses, thank You very much!
Badu quickly reassured her fans she was fine. She even took some time to joke about the situation after one of her followers asked about her well being and how her results get reported.

I’m not sure if this means she has it or she doesn’t, but one thing’s certain: RAPID TESTS SUCK (as Elon Musk recently showed us). Erykah’s nostrils are more confused than the country was during election week. And her left nostril is Trump hanging on while the right one is the American people screaming “Get The Fuck Outta Here!”
