Miley Cyrus Says She “Never Cared” About Being Married And Having Children
27-year-old Miley Cyrus spoke on SiriusXM’s Morning Mash-Up about her new track Midnight Sky and since the song is about breaking free and being an untamed single lady, Miley spoke about relationships and marriage and whether she’ll ever get hitched again. Miley said that she “never cared” about marriage or children. Welp! Good thing her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth doesn’t think that “highly“ of her or he’d take offense!
Miley and Liam were together on-and-off for ten years and their marriage lasted less than a year. Miley rebounded with Kaitlynn Carter and then Cody Simpson, but now she’s completely free again. While talking to Morning Mash-Up, she admitted that she gives two shits about marriage or babies. via Page Six:
“I never really cared that much. I am sure that my fans are going to pull up me at 12 saying, “Oh I want to have kids,” but like I don’t… As a 27-year-old woman that would have a little bit more of a realistic idea of what they want… That has never been kind of my priority.”
Miley has lots of pets, but she admitted that she would maybe consider adoption if she wanted to raise a human child:
“I actually think that in a way, just looking at our climate change and our water and food it feels like to me, if anything, that I would to take someone that is on the earth. I love adoption and I think that’s really amazing. I definitely don’t think, I do not shame anyone that wants to have children. I just personally really think that that’s a priority for me in my life…”
Miley said she’s all about herself right now, so don’t ask her about marriage, because that’s sexist:
“For me, I don’t just really think about marriage and things like this anymore. I follow a lot of feminists online and it’s kind of like how many men do you really ask if they are going to get married or have kids?… I’m sure maybe we do and you want to buy into Jonas Brothers and things like that but I don’t think that many men feel the pressure to have kids and to get married.”

In the interview, Miley also talked about letting her hygiene slip during coronavirus and how she rarely uses deodorant. Miley also touched on her mullet, calling hair a “spiritual” thing. What spirit is this representing? The Babadook? But well, it is a good thing that Miley is soaring free right now and happy to be single, so she doesn’t have to deal with tricks heaving through their noses over her quarantine stank.
