Simon Cowell Broke His Back From Falling Off Of An Electric Bike

Simon Cowell got into a scary situation over the weekend and was taken to the hospital after falling off his electric bike, an electric bike that he was riding around his own compound in Malibu. This is why it’s much, much safer to never ever leave your couch. At least that’s what I tell myself. But does Sharon Osbourne have an alibi? Or Gabrielle Union?

TMZ is reporting that 60-year-old Simon took a serious tumble while testing out an e-bike, which can zoom up to 28 miles per hour. Simon fucked himself up so bad that he had to be transported to the hospital where it was discovered that he had broken his back and would require surgery. According to Simon’s reps:

In a very British statement, his rep said, “Simon had a fall from his bike on Saturday afternoon whilst testing his new electric bike in the courtyard at his house in Malibu with his family.”

The rep added that Simon is doing fine, is under observation, and was scheduled to undergo surgery last night. Simon has been in quarantine with his girlfriend Lauren Silverman, their 6-year-old son Eric, and her 14-year-old son Adam from a previous relationship.

Maybe, some pissed-off former Idol contestant is working their voodoo on Simon’s Easter Island skull because this is his second known tumble in three years, after falling down a flight of stairs in his London home in 2017.

Even though Simon’s back is busted, People Magazine says that he’s still expected to film America’s Got Talent first live show, since the coronavirus pandemic, on Tuesday at Universal Studios in Universal City, CA. Well, that e-bike has definitely been destroyed after messing up Simon, so he’ll have to be carried into AGT’s live show on a golden throne, which is probably how he’s carried into the show anyway.
