Rihanna Might Not Have Sent Her Father A Ventilator After All

Earlier this month, Rihanna’s 66-year-old father Ronald Fenty told The Sun that he tested positive for COVID-19 and his dear thoughtful daughter swooped in and saved the day by sending him a ventilator. Ronald claimed that he didn’t get a chance to use the ventilator because he recovered quickly. Ronald didn’t say what he was going to do with his unused ventilator. Would he send it back? Donate it to a hospital? Post it on Facebook Marketplace under Antiques & Collectables? (“VENTILATOR PERSONALLY PURCHASED BY RIHANNA. RARE! PICK UP ONLY, NO LOW BALL OFFERS“). According to a source who spoke with Page Six, the answer probably isn’t going to be any of those options, because Rihanna never sent Ronald a ventilator.

Ronald has a history of sketchiness, so no one should really be too surprised by this latest ventilator development. Ronald claimed that Rihanna was checking in on him every day, and was so concerned for his health and well-being, that she managed to track down an elusive ventilator and had it shipped to his home in Barbados.

Ronald also claimed he was so sick, he was afraid he was going to die. Rihanna hasn’t said anything publicly about her dad. If she let her lyrics do the talking, she might respond to his coronavirus claims with a, “Ro-nananana-ld, come on.” Or possibly even a, “You look so dumb right now.” But an anonymous source is doing the talking for her, and this is what they had to say about it:

“He doesn’t need a ventilator, and she didn’t send him one.”

The source added that she didn’t know about his alleged coronavirus diagnosis and doesn’t like that he talked to The Sun.

She did, however, reportedly send $700,000 worth of ventilators to Barbados. Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation has donated $5 million to various organizations fighting COVID-19 in the US, Africa, and the Caribbean, as well as donating much needed PPE to New York State. It sounds like Rihanna has been doing some donating, just to the people who actually need it. No offense, Ronald. Although some might say Rihanna has given Ronald the most important gift of all by not giving him anything. And that gift is: attention.

Ronald is probably itching to release a response to stay in Rihanna’s good graces and not get sued again, and when he does he’ll claim that he didn’t say, “ventilator” – he said, “Fenty, later.” As in, Rihanna was totally on sending him some Fenty makeup, but later, because she’s too busy being a coronavirus warrior!
