Tekashi69 Says He’s Not Safe In Jail, Duh

After snitching up and down the East Coast so that he won’t go to prison forever over federal firearms charges, Tekashi69 managed to earn himself a measly two years in jail in lieu of the 47 years he was looking at. But the thing about snitches is… …they get stitches. But honestly, he snitched on gang members, so a couple of stitches is a best-case scenario for him. And now he’s saying through his lawyer that he’s not safe in jail. I mean, who is? It’s jail–but he’s also correct.

Tekashi made a deal with the feds to get out of some heavy gun charges (including “discharging a firearm while committing a crime”) which could have gotten him 47 years in prison. Well, he wasn’t going to go down like that, so he snitched, including snitching on the Nine Trey Gangster Bloods who were on trial for racketeering charges. Tekashi somehow got a $10 million record deal during all this which makes me question society and our legal system more than I already do, and now he wants to get to be able to actually use that money that he signed up for.

TMZ says that Tekashi is now trying to get out of jail even sooner than intended. His lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, is now asking the court to let 69 do the rest of his sentence at home because he’s worried about surviving in jail. Lance filed documents asking the judge to allow Tekashi to serve what’s left of his 24-month sentence either in home confinement or a community correctional facility. He has about 10 months left.

Tekashi says the private prison he’s currently locked-up in is full of Bloods gang members–shocking. I am shocked someone would hate the private prison system and that a gang would have lots of people incarcerated.

This dude is all over the place. Why is he complaining about safety when he refused to have witness protection? Like he wants to just be released from prison because, what? Then he won’t be around all the Bloods gang members whose movements are heavily-monitored and only the Bloods gang members who live freely among the population?

And I mean, lets be real, the biggest threat to him of all is someone who can only access him outside of prison–Cardi B.
