Chloe Sevigny Is Pregnant With Her First Child

No, Chloe Sevigny didn’t do the celebrity thing of announcing her pregnancy on Instagram, or keep quiet until the kid is here, and then it’s like, surprise, I have a daughter named Raddix. Chloe used the paparazzi to announce her pregnancy. I never pictured alt-girl queen Chloe Sevigny as the type to bring out her baby belly in front of a photographer, but here we are.

TMZ says that Chloe was spotted on Monday in New York City with her boyfriend Sinisa Mackovic. A photographer got a few very obviously staged shots of Sinisa touching Chloe’s very obviously pregnant stomach. I’d suggest that Chloe has been reading the Michelle Williams’ Pregnancy Announcement Handbook, but they forgot the cup of coffee. It’s all in the details, Chloe!

Chloe was seen last month at the IFP Gotham Awards, and she wasn’t really trying to hide her midsection bump. She was also wearing a dress the same color as newborn baby poo. Oh, see – that should have been the announcement picture!

TMZ says that Chloe is about 5 months along, that she and Sinisa have been together for about a year, and that this will be the first kid for both of them. Chloe’s boyfriend is reportedly the director of a NYC art gallery. With that knowledge, I’m very confident Raddix is about three months away from losing their place as the most uNiQuE baby name of 2020. You had a good run, Rad.

TMZ also points out that because Chloe is 45, she’s technically considered a geriatric pregnancy. They’re not wrong, and they’re not being shady either – I legitimately knew someone who had a “geriatric pregnancy.” It’s just a standard medical term that means any pregnant person over 35. Although I do wish it was more literal, if only because it’s fun to picture a baby popping out of Chloe, unwrapping a hard candy, and complaining about kids these days to the star of KIDS.
