Cameron Diaz Is A Mom!

January 3, 2020 / Posted by:

Back in August, Cameron Diaz teased that she was looking into getting into the “wellness” business and cited Goop and her sister-in-law Nicole Richie’s House of Harlow as inspiration. Well, it looks like Cameron’s new project might very well be baby forward because she and husband Benji Madden just announced the birth of a little baby girl with the ridiculous name of Raddix Madden. You know, so they can call her Rad. Pink is livid she didn’t think of that one first!

Here’s the birth announcement both Cameron and Benji shared on Instagram.

Since Cameron and Benji won’t show us the goods, we’ll just have to assume that baby Rad was born with a full sleeve of tattoos and the patent to a line of 100% organic RAD brand vegan leather onesies.

Either Cameron has literally been hiding out in her basement for the past 9 months or the baby was born via surrogate, because this is the surprise baby of the decade (so far). However, Cameron and Benji have been hoping for a baby for some time. According to Us Weekly:

Three years after their surprise Beverly Hills nuptials, a source told Us Weekly exclusively that the Golden Globe nominee “would love” to be a mom and tried IVF, acupuncture and supplements to conceive. The insider added, “It just hasn’t worked out yet. … They don’t know exactly what it will look like, whether it will be natural or through adoption or surrogacy, but they aren’t giving up. It’s been a roller coaster of emotions, yet they still believe there will be a happy ending.”

So there you have it. The first celebrity baby of 2020 is named Raddix. What more could we ask for!?
