Anna Faris Might Be Engaged
Ever since they split up in 2017, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt’s personal lives have gone on wildly different trajectories. Chris has become the bible-thumping, not gay hating, questionable wardrobe-wearing husband of Katherine Schwarzenegger. Meanwhile, Anna rebounded by jetting off to Italy with a cinematographer named Michael Barrett. It’s enough to make you wonder if dumping pets was the only thing they had in common. Well, it looks like Anna also still appreciates the institution of marriage just as much as her ex, because TMZ is saying that Anna has been spotted wearing something that looks like an engagement ring.
Anna was seen in Los Angeles on Sunday with a diamond ring on her wedding finger, which is a nice way to imply a 100% chance of engagement without bothering your publicist on their day off.

Someone at TMZ did a little snooping and discovered that Anna doesn’t really wear rings, so the ring on her probably means exactly what it looks like. If Anna really does end up walking down the aisle, this will be her third marriage.
Anna has been with Michael for just over two years (she got together with him about six months after she and Chris Pratt called it quits on their marriage). And Michael is no stranger to her 7-year-old son Jack. But this possible engagement is a bit of a surprise, considering Anna’s past comments on marriage. Last year, Anna said that divorced “sucks” and that she was trying to value herself more, and not just hook herself up to any guy that showed interest in her. In March of last year, she questioned what the point of getting married even was. In March of this year, she appeared on Laura Wasser’s Divorce Sucks! podcast, and it didn’t sound like she was too excited by the possibility of becoming Mrs. Anna Faris-Barrett.
“I believe in love and monogamy. And I believe in the commitment with a relationship. But I do struggle with the idea of our legal system.”
But maybe Anna has changed her mind about marriage? To be honest, I don’t think Anna has to worry about anything this time around. Their relationship sounds like it’s rock solid. I say that because Anna and Michael are reportedly working together on a film in which she plays twin sisters (he is signed on as a producer). Normally the choice to work together on a big-budget film can be the kiss of death for a celebrity relationship. But they already worked together on the remake of Overboard. And if their relationship didn’t sink like Overboard did, I’d say they can probably get through anything, even marriage.
