Joe Giudice Of “Real Housewives Of New Jersey” Is Asking To Be Released From ICE Custody For Now

Joe Giudice‘s immigration issues have been stalled for a while, which is actually beneficial for him because that means he’s staying in America while they get figured out. The less fun aspect is that he’s not really just chilling in New Jersey with his wife Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice drinking protein shakes and hiding money–he’s chilling in detention with those people called ICE maybe bouncing a ball against a wall? Maybe he’s listening to other immigrants’ actually-harrowing tales of having to flee their own countries? Either sound super fun. Well, now Joe is thinking that maybe he could just get let go, and then he could wait somewhere not a prison cell while the court figures out if he’s going to be deported to Italy.

People says Joe went for it and asked to be let out of the ever-so-warm and cuddly embrace of the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agency. Joe has been hanging out with them since March when he completed 41-months in jail for all of those fraud charges which landed him here in the first place. When he was ordered to be deported, he appealed the decision and it was denied–and so it was looking like he was probably out of here. But then, his lawyers managed to get a stay of removal for Joe and so he got another chance at not getting deported.

There was a hearing on 47-year-old Joe’s case yesterday, but he wasn’t there physically, because ICE doesn’t play like that. But he was there via video call. Since Joe is still awaiting the final ruling on whether or not he can stay in the country he’s known since childhood and may soon be leaving it, he asked to not spend those last days waiting with the frat boys at ICE. Even Juicy Joe can only workout so many hours in a day!

A source says that Joe and his lawyer requested at the hearing that he be allowed to wait out the decision in the comfort of his luxurious/tacky mansion in New Jersey with his family. And he brought the whole familia to the hearing. Teresa was there, his mother was there, sister, brother–there were two dozen other family members there too. But all four of his kids were in school.

The source says the hearing lasted for an hour and the judge made no decision. But Joe can expect a decision to be issued within a week, probably. This is why I pay taxes. This is why I don’t break laws. I am afraid of repercussions. I suppose that’s the point of them. No word on whether Donald Trump is going to get invested with this the way he did for A$AP Rocky but don’t hold your breath; I don’t think Trump is worried about Italians voting for him in 2020 to the point he needs to win points with them like that.
