Jessica Biel Says She’s NOT An Anti-Vaxxer…. But She Probably Is One

Jessica Biel really is that Rich White Woman. You know the one? The one who has so much money and time on her hands she opens up a kids-play place for other rich moms and then after it closes because that’s not a sustainable business practice, she simply moves on with her life because the financial hit was not only something she could survive, but she has so much money she can continue to thrive? And then she also doesn’t vaccinate her kids because she heard from one of the other moms who was at her rich kid daycare that they cause autism, which she learned from her shaman/healer/“Spiritual Hacker”? That Rich White Woman.

It’s now come to light that Jessica is possibly on Team Anti-Vaxx as she spoke out in an attempt to stop a bill which would increase the number of vaccinated kids in California.

People reports that Jessica is really not here for your backlash. Sure it came to light that she was fighting for the right of parents and their medical “professional” to give their child polio, but that doesn’t mean she’s a bad person and she wants everyone to get polio! Just the ones who choose it! Okay?

Jessica was fighting against a pro-vaccine bill in California, bill SB 276. This bill would limit medical exemptions for vaccinations without approval from a state public health officer. This is following SB 277 which removed the “personal belief exemption” to vaccinate kids as a requirement for schools and daycare centres. SB 276 would create a statewide standardized medical exemption request form which would be available for use by licensed physicians and surgeons. And that might suck for the anti-vaxx crown since I don’t think a lot of these “medical professionals” saying don’t vaccinate your kids are fully-licensed. Just a guess. The bill says:

“The State Public Health Officer or the public health’s officer’s designee to approve or deny a medical exemption request, upon determining that the request provides sufficient medical evidence that the immunization is contraindicated or that a specific precaution regarding a particular immunization exists, based on guidelines of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).”

This sounds awful to Jessica. Babies? Being forced to not get diseases? Fuck you, government! But Jess wants to be clear, it’s not about everyone not vaccinating their kids–it’s about the people she knows personally not vaccinating their kids.

She posted to Instagram to clarify what was going on after appearing in a photo alongside well-known anti-vaxxer Robert F. Kennedy Jr.:

This week I went to Sacramento to talk to legislators in California about a proposed bill. I am not against vaccinations — I support children getting vaccinations and I also support families having the right to make educated medical decisions for their children alongside their physicians. My concern with #SB276 is solely regarding medical exemptions. My dearest friends have a child with a medical condition that warrants an exemption from vaccinations, and should this bill pass, it would greatly affect their family’s ability to care for their child in this state. That’s why I spoke to legislators and argued against this bill. Not because I don’t believe in vaccinations, but because I believe in giving doctors and the families they treat the ability to decide what’s best for their patients and the ability to provide that treatment. I encourage everyone to read more on this issue and to learn about the intricacies of #SB276. Thank you to everyone who met with me this week to engage in this important discussion!

Robert spoke to the Daily Beast explaining that Jessica is totally approving of “safe vaccines and for medical freedom,” which tells you everything you need to know because there is no such thing as an unsafe vaccine. See how that works? He said that their issue with SB 276:

“Is that a doctor who has made a determination–if he has found children in this state whose doctors have determined that they’re too fragile to receive vaccinations–this bill would overrule the doctors and force them to be vaccinated anyways.”

This is apparently not true, as children would not be immediately forced to get any vaccines, as the bill would require a second exemption from the Department of Health in order to fully-bypass vaccination, so… gaslighting on fleek.

Husband Justin Timberlake once referred to Jessica’s body as “a temple” so I guess she doesn’t do the whole “curative medicine” thing because it’s impure? Unclear, but now Jessica can join intellectual equivalents, Kristin Cavallari and Jenny McCarthy as a leader in the fight against global health and wellness. And just be wary that if you’re going to a Justin Timberlake concert, if he’s been around Jessica or any of her measles-ridden rich friends within two hours of being around you: girl, you could get it too!
