Wendy Williams And Her Estranged Husband Are Negotiating His Exit From Her Show (UPDATE)

UPDATE: That was fast. TMZ says that Kevin Hunter is officially off Wendy’s show. Now her staffers just need to clean out the break room refrigerator of any open containers that Kevin may have spit or pissed in as an act of revenge!

The Blast is reporting that Wendy Williams is about to have a messy divorce. Wendy made all of us cheer hoorah when she finally decided to divorce her cheating husband, Kevin Hunter. Knocking up his side-chick really kicked a wrench in Wendy’s ability to purposely look past his infidelities, I guess. Well, talking shit and being a mess has been very lucrative for Wendy and she’s worth a lot of money. And Wendy and Kevin have been together for the creation of all of that money, so–as to be expected–Kevin is already holding out his hands and going “pay me”.

Kevin has accepted that he and Wendy are over. Hell, he has a hot young piece and a fresh new baby; he’s ready to get on with his actual life and not just stay married to that cash machine who he’s still kind of friends with. But he isn’t going to just sign away everything and walk out the door, Kevin wants a piece of the pie. Kevin is currently negotiating a settlement in the divorce as well as a severance from exiting The Wendy Williams Show.

We’re told Hunter is not fighting the decision to end the marriage and will also be leaving as an employee of the show. But he wants to get paid, and our sources believe Hunter is looking at collecting a multi-million dollar settlement.

Kevin is not only an executive producer on the hit television show, he’s also one of the owners of Wendy’s production company, which co-produces the show.

We’re told he will not be allowed on set anymore, and will have his credit removed from the show soon. As far as the staff, we’re told they are “celebrating” Hunter’s departure because “nobody liked him” on the crew.

Although, the show itself can remove Hunter from his actual job as an EP, cutting ties completely with Wendy’s estranged husband is no easy task.

Source are also saying that the negotiation process will be gruelling. It’s true that Kevin was part of Wendy’s come up, so he has leverage in getting money that way. But New Jersey is a fault divorce state, so Wendy can point to the baby which he made with someone who is not her and that helps her case. However, Kevin can point to Wendy’s addiction issues and say that was cause for the divorce and it can help him. Is Kevin shitty enough of a person to try to use Wendy’s addiction (which he negatively impacted by getting a woman pregnant) as a means to get more money than he deserves? Yes.

And that’s not all, TMZ is saying that Wendy had to hire bodyguards because of all this.  Sources close to the show’s production tell them that Wendy hired three full-time security guards. The guards are with her day-to-day and were initially hired a week before Wendy filed for divorce. Sources say that the couple had a number of blowups leading up to the filing and one time it got so serious that “Kevin had to be restrained.”

This is not the time for Wendy to let Kevin get her money. She needs to put on her best fighting wig and get to it! She should call up Angelina Jolie. Angie was so vicious that lawyers tried to quit her, and Wendy needs that kind of energy right now.
