Did Duchess Meghan Make Duchess Kate Cry?

If the Royal family was Mean Girls, I’d assume The Queen was Regina George, Duchess Kate was her Gretchen, Duchess Meghan was her Cady, and Camilla was the girl who saw The Queen wearing army pants and flip flops, so she went out and bought army pants and flip flops. But according to The Telegraph, (via The Daily Beast), it sounds like Duchess Kate is actually the Gretchen to Duchess Meghan’s Regina.

When Michael wrote yesterday about Meghan and Prince Harry moving to the suburbs, he mentioned the rumor that Meghan and Kate don’t really get along. Two sources have told The Telegraph that Kate and Meghan got into a fight over bridesmaid dresses during the planning of Meghan’s wedding to Harry. One source says that Kate had just given birth to Prince Louis, and was already feeling pretty emotional on the day they had a dress fitting for Princess Charlotte. The sources don’t get specific on what the fight was about, but they said that Kate left the fitting “in tears.” All we know is that the fight was over a 3-year-old’s dress.

This was reportedly around the same time Harry and The Queen got into it over what tiara Meghan would wear on the big day. Petty fights over dresses and tiaras with your in-laws? Don’t ever say the Royal family is out of touch, because all that’s missing is someone urinating somewhere they shouldn’t be, and that sounds like every wedding I’ve ever been to.

This is all contrary to previous reports that Duchess Meghan is best tea time buddies with both The Queen and Duchess Kate. Only three months ago, Meghan and Kate were described as having agreat” relationship. Who knows what the truth is here. But as soon as Samantha Markle reads this news about Meghan allegedly making Kate cry, she’ll be draining all her long-distance minutes by calling up Kensington Palace and begging to gossip with Kate about Cruella De Vil. Sorry Kate, but it looks like she’s your problem now.
