Kim Kardashian Brags About How Thin She Is And Twitter Got Angry

People is reporting that Kim shared some special Instagram stories over the weekend of her and sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner. The three members of their Koven were at the City of Hope charity poker event on Sunday and while backstage, Kim’s sisters had some kommentary about her body.

In the first story, Kendall tells Kim that she’s worried for her since she is so skinny. “I don’t think you’re eating” she jokes:

Then Kim eggs on her sister Khloe to reiterate how skinny Kim is, bathing in the compliments like she does the blood of virgins under the full-moon to preserve her youth:

The skinny-talk was far from over. In two more videos we hear Kim decry that she’s “not that skinny!” In fact, she says: “I’m down to 119 pounds!” Watch out for a stiff breeze, Kim, wouldn’t want you blowing away.

The most realistic part of the exchange between sisters is when Kim says she weighs less without her hair extensions and Khloe points out Kim’s disproportionate extremities:

How much fucking hair does this trick get sewn into her damn head that it affects her physical weight? This family is on another level.

Because hearing these women who are often lauded for their ‘body positivity’ talk about how dangerously thin Kim is will drive anyone insane, Twitter reacted with swift indignation:

Best Coast is on the right track, but what should make us all want to throw our phones into outer space is us paying attention to Kim obsessing about her weight and reporting about it.

There has been no comment from Kim and kompany about how out of touch and fucked up those Instagram stories were and there probably never will be since ‘out of touch and fucked up’ is the summary on the back of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians DVD box-set. The Kardashians brand of body positivity has always been “keep your waist, arms, thighs and neck skinny, everything else should be filled with silicone” so this is zero-percent shocking to me. Call me when Kim does something as brave and unique as Kylie Jenner and removes her filler.
