Get Into Prince George’s 5th Birthday Pic

Happy Birthday to the only star that might one day eclipse THE QUEEN! It’s her great-grandson, Prince George, who could probably cut the royal line to rule the UK and pretty much the world in the next few decades due to his powerful style and potent sass. This fashion-forward, effervescent tyke is living his best life as he grabs the world by the face with his mischevious grin and royal splendor. (Note the hand in pocket. It’s becoming his signature pose.)

Dad and Mum (Prince William and Duchess Kate) have released the prince’s official 5th birthday photo and he’s the definition of adorbs. Few can work a Peter Pan collar with such confidence. This here’s one of em’.

According to People, the Kensington Palace released a statement on Saturday:

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new photograph of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness’s fifth birthday tomorrow.”

Prince George’s latest gift to the masses was taken in the garden of Clarence House, the royal residence in London, by photographer Matt Porteous on July 9. This was shortly after his brother Prince Louis‘ christening. How sweet of George to allow his little bro to impinge on a photoshoot day with his sad little church bath ceremony.

For those of you looking to snatch Prince George’s look (you kinky bitches):

George wore a short-sleeved white shirt with a peter pan collar and blue piping paired with blue shirts by Amaia — the same outfit he also wore for Trooping the Colour this year.

Releasing a birthday photo of the kid is a Kensington Palace yearly tradition, and it’s a nice way to track Prince George’s style evolution. His first birthday pic was with his parents at a butterfly exhibit at London’s Natural History Museum. This year, when asked by his mummy for concept ideas for the shoot, he obviously said, “Let’s nix the corny family schtick. I’m thinking ‘subtle, streetwise fun.’ I’m thinking just a brick wall and a sharp outfit and letting my smile speak for itself. Ta!”
