Kate del Castillo Says She Did Sean Penn During The El Chapo Trip

Kate del Castillo is an actress who accompanied angry riverbed Sean Penn on his quest to meet and interview internationally infamous drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzmán. Sean’s reportedly trying to get Kate’s documentary about their trip (The Day I Met El Chapo: The Kate Del Castillo Story) taken off Netflix. The reason why? It might have something to do with Kate’s revelation to People that they were so horny after meeting El Chapo that they allegedly banged. Can you think of a more powerful aphrodisiac? Me neither.

Kate tells People:

“It was never a relationship. It was just business. And sex.”

In the doc, Kate reportedly tells a friend that she “fell” for liberal rage monster Sean Penn during their adventure together. This sounds like a Gloria Monty-era General Hospital plot, but Sean is making it even more dramatic by insinuating that people will be murdered if they learn he put that dusty Slim Jim to her.

The Mystic River star has taken issue with the documentary, which tells her side of the story behind the controversial meeting. The New York Times reported that a lawyer for Penn sent a letter to Netflix saying “that blood will be on their hands if this film causes bodily harm.”

And they didn’t end the drama there. Someone’s being “tawdry and transparent!

Penn’s spokesman Mark Fabiani told PEOPLE, “This is not about one person’s safety. These producers are propagating false and reckless fabrications for their profit. This is nothing but a cheap, National Enquirer-esque tale spun by a delusional person whose hunger for fame is both tawdry and transparent.”

Sean and Kate met with the escaped El Chapo before his capture in October of 2015. Sean wrote about it for Rolling Stone in January of last year, which prompted a lot of “wait, why is Sean Penn the one meeting with murderous drug lords on the lam?” discussion.

Kate and El Chapo had been in contact since she tweeted about him in a positive way earlier in 2015.

Kate claims that Sean saw the documentary before its release but didn’t express his displeasure until it was too late. What does she want – he was probably busy ruining the reputations of more important actresses.

“He was not happy about it but he had the chance,” she says. “We reached out to him many times and he ignored us. Now he wants to be a part of it and it’s too late. I think he should do his own documentary of himself.”

The next time a former lover starts some static, look at him very plainly and quietly inform him that he “should do his own documentary of himself.” It’s an elegant way of saying “go fuck yourself.
