Taylor Swift Continues To Be Shady
“I wrote this song, damnit! I’m allloowweeedd to sing along! I’m just a girl having fun!” Taylor Swift (seen above looking like Sailor Moon’s luxe older sister having bathroom difficulties) attended the NYC Fashion Week debut of her friend and fellow Snake Squad member Gig Hadid’s clothing line yesterday. The show, a collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger, was officially titled “The TommyXGigi Show.” Per usual, it was actually “A Taylor Swift Moment feat. Gigi Hadid and Tommy Hilfiger.” She knows what she’s doing. Which is why she sang along to “This Is What You Came For,” the song she wrote for her contentious ex Calvin Harris to record with Rihanna, during the show.

(Can I pause for a moment to note that People using “squad member” as the primary identifier for Gigi Hadid gives me the same feels as when people refer to a pregnant woman’s “bump.” Those two terms occupy the same place in my colon as “over the moon“ does in Michael K.’s. It’s not a good feeling. Thank you.)
Taylor Snapchatted and Instagrammed away as she chair-danced and threw shade at her whiny ex. If you’ll recall, Tay Tay revealed that she wrote “This Is What You Came For” under an alias (“Nils Sjöberg“) after they broke up as an umbrella tilt in her ex’s direction. Unfortunately, Calvin still hasn’t parked the wah-mbulance.
Swifty was front row with Gigi’s mother, celebrity lyme disease sufferer Yolanda Foster, and her other model friend, Martha Hunt. Did Martha mop those pants from Smee?

Here she is congratulating Gigi after the show in a totally intimate moment that could have probably happened backstage. See if you can spot Tommy Hilfiger jumping in the background and trying to be seen while screaming “It’s me! I’m here, too!”

In other Swifty news, Hadid let ET know that Taylor is currently working on No, I Dumped Him: The Album new music. This was Taylor’s first public appearance since she broke up with Tom “Double O Desperation” Hiddleston.
“She’s obviously such a great friend, and you know she is starting to go back to work in the studio again, and really made time to be here for me, and I am so grateful for that,” the 21-year-old model shared.”
