Aaron Carter Has Died At 34
The Hollywood Reporter and TMZ both brought us the tragic news that Aaron Carter died at his home in Lancaster, CA this morning. A rep for Aaron Carter his death in a statement to NBC News:
“We are extremely saddened and shocked to confirm the passing of Aaron Carter today. At the moment his cause of death is being investigated. We ask that you give the family time and they will have more information when available. We cannot express the outpouring of love coming in.”
Aaron was only 34.
Takeoff, Of The Rap Trio Migos, Has Died At 28 After A Shooting In Houston
TMZ reports that Takeoff, the youngest member of Georgia rap trio Migos, died early this morning after he was shot during a fight in Houston, TX. Takeoff died at the scene. He was only 28.
We Are Now Living In A World Without Leslie Jordan In It
The world is a lot, lot, lot, lot, lot less bright today. Because national treasure, actor, comedian, writer, singer, humanized ray of sunshine, our Hot Slut of 2020, and one of the few bright spots who got us through quarantine, Leslie Jordan, died today in Los Angeles after crashing his car into the side of a building while suffering a medical condition. This one hurts extra because it feels like Leslie Jordan just gave us a tiny piece of his brilliance and had much more to share. Leslie was only 67.
Judy Tenuta, The Love Goddess, Has Died
Aphrodite is technically the goddess of love, but for me, the goddess of love has always been Judy Tenuta! The comedian and accordion legend, who called herself The Love Goddess and the Aphrodite of the Accordion, died at her home in Studio City, CA yesterday. Judy was 56 years old (okay, Judy was really 72 years old but she doesn’t want you to know that!).
Country Music Legend Loretta Lynn Has Died At 90
Loretta Lynn, trailblazing country music icon who could work a country queen ball gown like no other (see: above), died this morning. In a statement from Loretta’s family, they say that she died in her sleep at her ranch in Tennessee.
“Our precious mom, Loretta Lynn, passed away peacefully this morning, October 4th, in her sleep at home at her beloved ranch in Hurricane Mills.”
Loretta Lynn was 90.
Coolio Has Died At 59
The Grammys In Memoriam is already going to be 896 hours long, rightfully so, and now it sadly has gotten longer. Because Coolio, the Grammy-winning legend who gave us Fantastic Voyage and Gangsta’s Paradise, died suddenly yesterday. Coolio was only 59.
