Kanye West Has Re-Hired Milo Yiannopoulos To Help Run His 2024 Presidential Campaign
Kanye West has a political campaign, allegedly, I guess. I mean, his 2024 campaign reported $0.00 in donations in February, but surely they’ve had floods of money come in after his praise of Hitler and other anti-Semitic shit that has come out of his mouth. Ye is in it again, according to professional nobody Milo Yiannopoulos, who tells The Daily Beast that he is now officially the “Director of Political Operations” of Kanye’s campaign. That title, like Kanye’s campaign, means nothing.
Kanye and Milo actually had beef last year when Milo tried to invoice Kanye for $116,000 because he was previously working for the 2024 campaign alongside far-right sycophants, like white supremacist Nick Fuentes and a January 6th organizer, Ali Alexander. But Kanye claimed that everyone who was working for him was on a volunteer basis, so no one should have expected to be paid. They were ultimately paid, though. According to campaign finance records, Milo was paid $40,000, and Nick received $30,000.
Unclear what Kanye is paying Milo now, but two sources close to Kanye say that he is interested in reigniting his political aspirations, and Milo is apparently a part of that:
“Ye is an artist of distinction, refinement and taste, so naturally for this next chapter of his political endeavors he has ditched the Nutella and cracked out the caviar,” Yiannopoulos told The Daily Beast in a text message.
In Wednesday night emails to Fuentes and Alexander that were reviewed by The Daily Beast, Yiannopoulos told his one-time friends that he was now back in charge of West’s political operations. Fuentes and Alexander, in Yiannopoulos’s telling, were fired. In exchange, Yiannopoulos offered them the prospect of unpaid “advisor” roles, but forbade them from acknowledging any connection to West publicly.
“Your services on Ye’s exploratory team are terminated as of this letter, and will not be required for any possible future campaign,” Yiannopoulos wrote.
Ali, who was accused of asking teenage boys for nude pictures, was reportedly informed by Milo that he wasn’t going to be “permitted physical access to the candidate or any staff or volunteers in our organization from this moment.” Ali tells The Daily Beast that Milo is “full of shit” and went on to kiss Kanye’s ass:
“I don’t discuss my friendship with Ye or others to the press,” Alexander wrote. “He is a genius and samples many views from many people.”
Fuentes and representatives for West didn’t respond to requests for comment.
Well, it’s good that Kanye will always have some far-right Internet horror creeping around the corner, ready for a political gig. Otherwise, how would he find employees? I guess his other option is putting up some Workopolis posting saying “Must Love Hitler,” but that may go against their terms of service agreement.
