Kanye West Reportedly Paid A Settlement To An Employee Who Heard Him Praising Hitler And Spewing More Anti-Semitic Shit

Wanna hear some more about how Kanye West has actually been observed being an open anti-Semite for years? A previous CNN story claimed that Kanye had an open “obsession” with Hitler that led to a settlement with one person over a hostile work environment. But that’s not the only one. NBC News reports that Kanye paid out a settlement to another former employee, who is remaining anonymous, for barfing up anti-Semitic crap in the workplace. And wouldn’t you believe, all these different people are now remembering years’ worth of Kanye’s anti-Semitism and are speaking out anonymously about their experiences? Imagine if we brought these things up as they happened instead of after the fact!
Kanye has been diving head-first into public anti-Semitism for a bit now, and it’s reportedly cost him several brand deals and hundreds of millions of dollars. But former employees and collaborators are now coming forward to say that Kanye’s been a Nazi sympathizer for years. Ryder Ripps is a conceptual artist who worked with Kanye several times between 2014 and 2018. Ryder says that during their time together, there were multiple times that Kanye spoke positively about Nazism and Hitler, and mentioned anti-Jewish conspiracies during meetings in 2018. Ryder is Jewish, and says he pushed back at the time but thought Kanye’s comments “didn’t seem that dangerous.” *Stares directly into camera* What is “not dangerous” anti-Semitism like? Well… anyway, NOW Ryder thinks Kanye is awful:
“This is dangerous and disgusting and actually violent,” he said.
“With this pattern that’s happening and with the doubling and tripling down of all this, it’s pretty obvious that this is some kind of disgusting, hate-filled, strange Nazi obsession,” Ripps said…
“He had told me a bunch of shit about, like, how “Nazis are good at propaganda,”” Ripps said, remembering multiple instances in which, he said, Ye claimed “”Jews have codes.”” Ripps recalled a 2018 interaction in which, he said, Ye asked, “”You’re not offended that, like, I’m interested in Nazis or something,”” referring to an aggrieved Jewish employee. “He said stuff like “Jews have the codes” a lot.”
Several former employees agreed to talk to NBC News but had to remain anonymous because Kanye made them sign more than one NDA. Here’s what they said:
“I feel like he was just kind of, like, looking around, like, seeing, like, how are people reacting?” the ex-employee said. “He would say, “I even love Hitler,” and then he would, like, pause for reactions.”
Ye said that Hitler “had some good qualities” and that “he wasn’t all bad,” the employee said.
“He would kind of present things as, like, questions to ask people their opinion on something, but then he would go really hard and aggressive on, like, what he thought about it and on really just topics that would upset people, like there were people always visibly upset,” the former employee said.
Another of the six people who spoke to NBC News recalled multiple instances dating to 2019 of Ye’s referring to anti-Jewish conspiracy theories, blaming Jews for certain events and comparing himself to Hitler.
As for the settlement, NBC News reports that the former employee alleged to have “witnessed more than one incident in which Ye praised Hitler or Nazis in business meetings.” NBC News reviewed the settlement agreement but didn’t publish many details to protect the former employee. But they did report that while Kanye agreed to pay the employee, he denied their claims in the agreement.
And remember how that TMZ producer, Van Lathan, revealed that Kanye said very anti-Semitic things back in 2018 when he was on TMZ Live? Well, three more former employees of the show co-signed that and said that TMZ’s founder Harvey Levin buried the footage:
Two of the former TMZ employees said a Jewish producer stood up to confront Ye about his remarks about Nazis and Hitler.
One of the former employees said the only response from Ye they remembered was that he smiled.
After the interview, “Harvey got on the loudspeaker and was like: “Nobody do anything. Everybody just sit there. Nobody do anything with any work,”” said one of the three former employees, who worked as a production assistant, referring to TMZ founder Harvey Levin. Later, the former employee said, he was instructed “don’t post the Jewish stuff” by a co-worker who cited a directive from Levin.
Another of the three former employees said, “Harvey came back into the edit bay and said cut out anything related to Jews, to that type of antisemitism… I wish I kept the footage.”
I’m just waiting for Kim Kardashian to come out and pretend she had no idea that her former husband was actually like this. And then Kanye will shoot back that, actually, they used to sexually role-play Hilter and Eva Braun in the bedroom.
