Jonathan Majors Has Been Dropped By His Manager As He Faces Assault Charges

Three weeks ago, Jonathan Majors unofficially won the Guinness World Record for the quickest and hardest fall from grace when he was arrested on domestic violence charges in NYC. A quick minute later, the US Army pulled ads that Jonathan narrated. A quick minute after that, Jonathan’s PR firm, The Lede Company, dropped his ass, too, and probably because they wanted to spare their poor eardrums from the constant screeching sound of their phones repeatedly ringing over this. And today, Deadline reports that Jonathan’s talent managers, Entertainment 360, have become the latest company to get out of the Jonathan Majors business.

If, for some reason, someone wants to book Jonathan for a job (cut to the sound of tumbleweeds blowing in the wind), they’ll have to call up someone other than his manager because he doesn’t have one anymore. Deadline adds that Valentino has also distanced themselves from Jonathan Majors, and he won’t be their guest at the Met Gala next month.

Talent manager Entertainment 360 has dropped Jonathan Majors, several sources tell us. The recent move by Majors’ longtime manager comes three weeks after the Magazine Dreams star was arrested on domestic violence charges in New York City.

Currently starring in Creed III and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Majors’ departure was due to issues surrounding the actor’s personal behavior, we are informed.

Majors’ representation problems don’t stop with Entertainment 360. PR firm The Lede Company also initiated a break with the Avengers actor in the last month.

As a more minor element of this, Majors and fashion house Valentino “mutually agreed” that the actor would not be attending this year’s Met Gala as one of its guests.

Jonathan was arrested on March 25 after an unnamed woman told police that he hit her and choked her during a fight. The woman was treated at the hospital for her injuries. Jonathan was charged with three counts of assault in the third degree, aggravated harassment in the second degree, three counts of attempted assault in the third degree, and harassment in the second degree. Jonathan’s lawyer Priya Chaudhry immediately screamed, “INNOCENT!” and claimed he was the real victim in all this. Priya said that the alleged victim took back her allegations and that they had video footage and text messages that would clear Jonathan Majors’ pristine name. Priya also promised that the charges would be dropped. Well, no charges have been dropped, and that alleged exonerating video footage hasn’t been released. Jonathan’s team did release text messages from his alleged victim. But that move backfired since the text messages read more like they should be filed under: “What Not To Release If You’re Trying To Prove To The World That You’re Not A Domestic Abuser.”

While Entertainment 360, The Lede Company, Valentino, and the US Army are done with Jonathan Majors for now, Marvel isn’t. Jonathan plays Kang in the MCU and was last seen in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and already shot scenes for the second season of Disney+’s Loki series, which comes out later this year. Deadline says that Marvel has had “zero conversations” about dropping Jonathan.  Honestly, dropping and replacing Jonathan might be easy since his Kang has only been seen in the Ant-Man sequel, and nobody saw that shit!

It looks like Marvel is going the DC/Ezra Miller route by sticking with Jonathan for now. You know, since Marvel and DC  seem to agree on how to handle alleged abusers, I wouldn’t be surprised if they soon announce a great, big Marvel/DC crossover movie called Kang & The Flash.
