Open Post: Hosted By Bayley, The Mini Sheepadoodle Who Looks Like Snoopy
The last time we saw a living being attempt to emulate the mononymous cartoon Beagle icon, Snoopy, it was a defeated-looking Hoda Kotb on the Today show as part of the hosts’ coordinating Peanuts costumes–all of which were a bubbling puddle of ramshackle nightmare fuel–so how very refreshing for the internet to have bestowed upon us the adorable Bayley, a mini sheepadoodle! Bayley has recently gone viral for her uncanny resemblance to Joe Cool himself.
Though a very good girl Bayley is a floofy mini sheepadoodle (which is a cross between an English sheepdog and a miniature poodle) and not a sleek beagle; her solid black ears and extremely boop-able snoot against her expressive white mug could make her the perfect Snoopy casting if Hollywood stays on their bullshit of turning perfectly good cartoons into big budget live-action ordeals. But Bayley’s probably above that anyway since she’s already amassed a huge number of followers! via People:
The one-year-old’s incredibly expressive face caught the eye of animal lovers on social media, and the American pup’s Instagram following has skyrocketed to more than 145,000 followers (at the time of publishing).
Bayley’s rise in followers on her own Instagram account came after she was featured on a doodle enthusiast account that pointed out her resemblance to Snoopy.
Bayley’s meteoric rise to fame was sparked by the Instagram account Doodle Dogs Club, which shared a photo of the mini sheepadoodle next to a shot of the cartoon character Snoopy from Peanuts.
