Open Post: Hosted By A Young Colin Farrell Modeling A Thong

An incredibly important video from 1994 was recently unearthed by a TV archivist from Meath, Ireland. Greg Molloy was digitizing some old donated VHS tapes when he stumbled upon a clip of a then-18-year-old Colin Farrell modeling a red thong on an Irish daytime show. The Irish Sun released stills from Colin’s long-forgotten appearance last April, but it wasn’t until last week that we got the full video in all its glory. I can safely say that this is the most exciting historical discovery since archaeologists found King Tut’s tomb one-hundred years ago. A win for historians and horndogs alike!

In the clip, Colin shows off his body on the long-canceled RTE lunchtime chat show, 12-2-1, for a segment about Christmas underwear. The hosts and panelists are supposed to give their opinions on Colin’s thong, which cost £19.99. The ladies are thrilled with Colin’s cheeky little performance and, after he graces them with a twirl, urges him to turn around again. One panelist says, “Wow. Look at that. He’s got a great body.” He really does, random female panelist. He really does. Here’s the clip:

Greg Molloy tells the Irish Sun that there are likely even more unearthed clips from Colin’s modeling days because “there would have only been a relatively small number of male models used on the RTE daytime shows on a regular basis.” So this thong clip could be the tip of the iceberg!

So far, no response from present-day Colin Farrell, now age 46. I can’t imagine he’s too rattled by the clip. He’s had far more embarrassing (and hotter) videos that have leaked to the public. “Breakfast, lunch, and fucking dinner.”
