Open Post: Hosted By Subway’s Limited-Edition Footlong Cookies

Everyone knows the sandwiches at Subway are absolutely subpar. They’re basically lettuce mountains with extra bread, a little bit of meat and a whisper of cheese. Yummy! However, their cookies are the best thing on the menu, which is ironic since they’re probably one of the unhealthiest things they have to offer(which is why they’re so delicious). And now Subway wants to fully capitalize on the fact their cookies are the real star by offering a whole footlong of sweetness with a new line of 12-inch cookies.

Now before you start salivating over the thought of shoving one of their elongated cookies in your mouth, please know that this isn’t going to be happening everywhere. This delicious delight will only take place in Miami at Subway’s pop-up shop called Cookieway. And this is all in celebration of the upcoming National Cookie Day on December 4. Delish reports Subway is offering four new cookies from 1 pm to 5 pm ranging from sweet and savory to “What were you thinking?” The Subway Cookie Club is a double chocolate cookie topped with cookie chunks, chocolate chips, chocolate, and raspberry sauce. The Monster is a double chocolate cookie topped with all of the peanut butter products in the world. But the last two offerings make me believe the marketing team who came up with this mess were high as hell, and the munchies took over their brains.

The Great Pickle blends sweet and savory by topping a vanilla sugar cookie with peanut butter and marshmallow crème, salty potato chips, bacon crumbles, and dill pickles.

The MexiCali is comprised of a vanilla sugar cookie base smothered in dulce de leche. The cookie is then topped with mole and corn nuts, drizzled with white chocolate sauce, and finished with ground coffee, Tajín, and espresso chips.

Subway failed to mention their fifth option: The Diabetes. Because anyone who attempts to eat one of these gigantic cookies alone is more than likely going to need their A1C checked immediately to avoid being rushed to the hospital.
