Jamie Lynn Spears Wants Everyone To Know She’s More Than Just Britney’s Sister On The Upcoming Show “Special Forces”

On most occasions, I forget all about Britney Spears‘ little sister Jamie Lynn Spears. But Jamie Lynn’s name has been making the rounds, especially now that we know Britney’s ringtone for her little sister is probably Big Sean’s I Don’t Fuck With You. So Jamie Lynn needs to find a way to improve her public image. Luckily for her, FOX’s new reality show Special Forces:World’s Toughest Test will challenge her both physically and mentally in ways she never imagined. Much like when Britney was tested in the same ways during her conservatorship, but we’ll just let Jamie Lynn think she’s breaking new ground since she clearly needs some attention right now.

People reports Special Forces isn’t just a show that’s aimed to throw its audience into moments of shock and awe (even though that’s exactly what it is) it’s more about the celebrities becoming better versions of themselves according to FOX CEO Rob Wade.

Special Forces puts celebrities you know and love through the most pure and authentic test of endurance that I have ever seen. In many ways, it is more about mental strength than physical strength,” said FOX Entertainment CEO Rob Wade.

“It’s an eye-opening glimpse into the most intense training in the world,” Wade continued, “and gives a taste of the grit and bravery our armed forces show on a daily basis, which was a life-changing experience for these celebrities.”

Translation: “We’re about to torture THE HELL out of these folks who need a check because we ain’t shit at FOX.” Besides Britney’s sister, the cast also includes rump shakin’ bachelorette Hannah Brown, Karen prototype Kate Gosselin, and twirl queen Kenya Moore. And Jamie must know she’s about to reclaim the glory days of her early career while people see her perform death-defying stunts in hopes of no longer being viewed as just Britney’s little sister.

For her part, 31-year-old Spears gets so physically taxed at one point she spits up liquid during a task. She explains her motivation for challenging herself so intensely: “Growing up [Britney] became worldwide famous. I guess I just wanna like [proving that] I’m just like worth something.”

With powerful tag lines like “If you should die, that’s nature way of saying you fail.” this mess is about to be FOX’s newest hit. And I’m sure Britney won’t be watching her sister on this tacky update of Circus of the Stars because she’s too busy sharpening her claws for her online catfight with Selena Gomez! And honestly, that would be a much better show than this mess Jamie Lynn is trying to entice us into watching.

Here’s the trailer.
