Wendy Williams Is Out Of Rehab And Working On New Projects

October 19, 2022 / Posted by:

Around this time last month, we heard that Wendy Williams had checked into rehab after many became concerned about her behavior and health. Well, now Wendy is out and possibly ready to reclaim her crown as the Troubadour of Trash Talk. And although we all know she needs to take up a less stressful hobby like coin collecting or knitting, that ain’t happening. Because not only is she prepared to work on her many upcoming projects, she may be serving you dinner and drink specials during Shoe Cam Sunday brunch at her alleged new restaurant.

Page Six reports after a two-month stint at a “wellness facility,” Wendy has emerged better than she was before. That’s not very reassuring since she’s become her own greatest Hot Topic subject for the past few years, so I’m hoping she finally takes some time to rest and reset. But we all know she’s not doing that. And her crusade against dethroning Sherri Shepherd isn’t going to start itself, so she’s grabbing her best fightin’ wig to suit up and prepare for battle.

The former talk show host’s rep tells Page Six that Williams is back at home and “healing.”

“We are happy to report that Wendy Williams is home and healing after being in a wellness facility since August,” Shawn Zanotti says in a statement.

“Wendy is excited about the road ahead and looking forward to releasing her many projects.”

Perhaps now she will begin working on the podcast she’s been threatening to terrorize us with for months because you know she can’t stay out of the spotlight too long. But even if she never pics up that coveted W microphone again, she still intends on serving her fans all the hot tea they want. Literally. Page Six also reports Wendy wants to lean on the guidance of Anchor/Restauranteur Rosanna Scotto, owner of Fresco in New York City, to potentially open a restaurant.

Fresco by Scotto owner Rosanna Scotto told us that Williams wants to open a restaurant with her help.

“She loves the meatballs at Fresco,” the “Good Day New York” co-host told us, “and the last time I talked to her she’s like, ‘OK, Rosanna, I am coming to Fresco and I want the meatballs and then you’re going to help me open up my own restaurant.’ And I’m like, ‘What, sister, you wanna take my people away to your restaurant?’

“I don’t know if she wants me to waitress or what,” Scotto joked, “but she did tell me she wants to open her own restaurant and she wants me to help… If there is [a restaurant] from Wendy, it will be big competition but I love her.”

Wendy’s restaurant will cause every other business around her to go under within months. And if she doesn’t name it the How You Doin’ Hacienda, she needs to throw this deferred dream into the garbage immediately because it will never work.
