Open Post: Hosted By The First Photos Of Lindsay Lohan’s Netflix Christmas Movie

Lindsay Lohan is returning to the big screen (well, only if your TV is huge). Last year, Lilo shot a Netflix movie called Falling for Christmas. It’s a Hallmark-esque holiday flick co-starring Chord Overstreet. Yesterday was October 3, aka Mean Girls Day (it’s the day Aaron Samuels asks Cady what day it was), and marketing guru Lindsay celebrated by posting the Falling for Christmas poster to her Instagram. She captioned it, “it’s October 3rd. now mark your calendars for November 10th.” Netflix also dropped a bunch of stills from the film. Get in losers, we’re going to watch 36-year-old Lilo make her millionth comeback (this time in gigantic sleeves puffier than her lips!)!
Here are the stills. And yes, that’s little Ali Lohan on the left:

Entertainment Weekly reports that Lindsay plays hotel heiress Sierra “whose new engagement goes off the rails when she gets into a skiing accident that leaves her with total amnesia.” Luckily for brain-damaged Sierra, “blue-collar widower” Chord Overstreet and his “precocious daughter” are there to take care of her during the holiday season. OK, so it’s Overboard, with a dash of Sonny Bono’s untimely death.
This is Lindsay’s first big movie role since 2013’s The Canyons. I have a feeling she won’t be flashing her boobies in this one. She says:
“It’s such a refreshing, heartwarming romantic comedy, and I miss doing those kinds of movies,” Lohan said of the film in an interview with Netflix. “All the stunt scenes were really fun for me because I haven’t gotten to do that much in a lot of my films… When I’m flying off the hill, attempting to ski well and not doing it.”
This is the first flick of Lilo’s two-picture deal with Netflix. The other one is called Irish Wish. It’s a fantasy where Lindsay wishes she could marry her best friend’s fiancé in Ireland, and then her Irish wish comes true! But, uh oh! Lindsay realizes that maybe the groom isn’t her soulmate after all. I feel like this is an unofficial sequel to 2006’s fantasy rom-com, Just My Luck, and if Chris Pine has any fucking sense he’ll sign on to co-star. Anything’s better than Don’t Worry Darling!
