Pete Davidson Really Dressed Up To Present At Last Night’s Emmys
Because the Emmy producers are desperate for ratings, they decided to get tabloid star Pete Davidson to present one of the night’s final awards, Outstanding Comedy Series, and he really dressed up for the occasion by showing up looking like a stock boy from the 90s. And while every mechanic was screaming, “Bitch stole my look,” Page Six thinks that Pete was possibly keeping his stupid feud with Kanye West alive by copying one of Kanye’s looks.
It all started with Pete’s surprise appearance during the Emmys, which was a treat for anyone hoping there would be a little subtle shade thrown into their ongoing game of Tag. And Pete gave the people what they wanted by coming to the stage dressed in an ensemble that Page Six thinks was a throwback to Kanye’s outfit from the 2019 Met Gala where Kanye put the DICK in Dickies.
Davidson, 28, wore a gray Dickies “Eisenhower” jacket ($60) with matching gray pants and white sunglasses — an outfit nearly identical to one previously worn by West, 45.
The rapper wore the same jacket in black while accompanying then-wife Kardashian to the “Camp”-themed Met Gala in 2019. His understated look was an attempt to draw attention away from himself and toward the Skims founder, whose wet-looking Thierry Mugler dress and waist-whittling corset made her the talk of the night.

Pete wasn’t just there to start more shit while bringing the formal glamour. E! News reports just before awarding Ted Lasso with the Outstanding Comedy Series award, Pete shouted out Emmys host Kenan Thompson for always being a true friend:
“The guy’s been in the zone for the past 30 years, just making us smile, nothing but net. He’s an absolute treasure and I’m honored to call him a friend.”
Pete then joked, “This is just like SNL because Kenan is doing all the work and I’m refusing to say what the writers want.”

Hopefully, Kanye doesn’t choose to take the high road and doesn’t respond to this, but then again why would he? He may want to wait a while before responding though, and my suggestion would be to cover himself in chalk and fake tattoos for Halloween in an homage to Pete’s ghoulish daily appearance.
