Open Post: Hosted By Timothée Chalamet’s Bare Back At The Venice Film Festival

It’s the last week of summer and you know what that means— Sun’s out, subscapular fossa’s out! Straight men in skirts on the red carpet are SO last month and you’re not gonna catch young Mr. Timothée Chalamet out here in ashy bare knees like some divorced dad of six. Today at the Venice Film Festival premiere of that cannibal movie he did with his Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino called Bones and All, Timothée brought just that to the red carpet. It’s almost as if he’s taunting Armie Hammer from afar with his tender and oh-so-succulent scapulae. He’s all “suck on this, Armie! Actually, on second thought…

According to Vogue:

In his boldest red carpet look yet, Chalamet enlisted the help of his favorite designer and close friend Haider Ackermann for a custom halter jumpsuit.

Cut from a shiny, blood-red fabric (possibly a nod to the grisly nature of the film he’s promoting), the outfit was slashed at the sides of the torso to be both sleeveless and almost entirely backless, with a wraparound, scarf-like neckline and Cartier rings for a bit of Studio 54-ready pizzazz. (Mick Jagger, eat your heart out.)

Sadly, Timothée’s jumpsuit was tightly fitted at the base so we weren’t offered a cheeky peek of his butt cleavage but his little back meats were on full display. Here are some shots of Timothée and his costars Taylor Russell (wearing a “made you look twice!” dress) and Chloe Sevigny (wearing underwear, thank god) on the VFF red carpet.
