Armie Hammer “Leaves” Another Project As His “Call Me By Your Name” Collaborators Work On A Cannibal Love Story

The inbox of Call Me By Your Name director, Luca Guadagnino, better brace itself because Armie Hammer is about to slam it with email after email, begging to put him in Luca’s new cannibal love story movie since he’s got pages upon pages of his cannibal fantasies to prove he’s perfect for it. “Remember how I wanted to switch the peach with a heart in Call Me By Your Name?” is possibly something Armie will write. Besides, Armie may need the work since he’s out of another job.

Shortly after all of the sexual and mental abuse allegations against Armie came out, it was announced that he was “stepping away” (that’s industry talk for “we dumped the liability“) from starring alongside Jennifer Lopez in the movie Shotgun Wedding. Armie has been replaced by Josh Duhamel. Armie acted like he was the one who left the project because the “vicious and spurious online attacks” against him gave him no choice but to stay in the Cayman Islands with his children instead of going off to the Dominican Republic to do a JLo movie for four months. By “spend time with his children,” Armie must have meant, “Drive drunk, snort the bad shit, and hang out with lingerie-wearing women who are definitely not Miss Cayman,” because he reportedly hasn’t spent much time with his family.

And now, Variety reports that Armie will no longer play the male lead in The Offer for Paramount Plus. Armie was going to play the lead role of producer Al Ruddy in the series about the making of The Godfather. via Variety:

It was announced in early December that Hammer was attached to lead the show in the role of Al Ruddy, who produced “The Godfather” back in 1972. The 10-episode series details Ruddy’s experience working on the iconic film. The search is now on for a new series lead. Reps for Hammer and Paramount did not immediately respond to Variety‘s request for comment.

As Josh Duhamel called up Paramount Plus to say, “Since I’m Armie Hammer’s official substitute, I’d like you to know I’m available,Deadline reported that Luca Guadagnino and delicate Victorian ghost twink Timothee Chalamet are getting together again for a movie called Bones & All, which is based on a novel by Camille DeAngelis. Timothee and Taylor Russell (who was in Lost In Space, Waves, and Escape Room) are in talks to star in the “coming of age horror story” about a teenage cannibal, via The Hollywood Reporter:

The project is based on the novel of the same name by Camille DeAngelis, which follows Maren Yearly on a cross-country trip as she searches for the father she’s never met in an attempt to understand why she has the urge to kill and eat the people that love her.

Shooting will begin in either April or May.

The Instagram page of Just Jared posted about the news, along with a picture of Armie doing an A+++ impersonation of Hollywood turning their backs on his ass. And Armie’s estranged wife Elizabeth Chambers commented with “No. Words.”

This is the first time that  Elizabeth has really said anything. Sources did claim that she was horrified by the allegations because she knew that Armie had a chronic wandering peen during their marriage but she didn’t know about the abuse. The sources added that Elizabeth believes the women.

Well, there are some words for this news. Yes, Bones & All has probably been in the works for a while, but I’m sure that the definition of “timing” is still looking at this news while saying the words, “You tricky bitch.
