Drake Defends His Private Jet’s 14-Minute Flights

Much like wasteful mess Kylie Jenner, soft-core gangste Drake is now getting dragged for being the kind of out-of-touch rich person who uses their private jet to take quick trips that could easily be taken by car. People are calling Drake out for his careless attempt at lessening his carbon footprint. Yet unlike Kylie, Drake has an explanation that probably sounds logical to him but will leave everyone else wondering if he’s still jet lagged and dazed from his last trip on Air Drake.

If you’ve never seen Drake’s oversized pretty powder blue plane staining the friendly skies, just be reassured that it’s massive and probably part of his wooing technique to seduce all kinds of 20-year-old YouTubers.

However, according to BuzzFeed News, Twitter account @CelebJets is now dragging Drake’s name through a bit of turbulence because of a reported fourteen-minute trip Air Drake took from Toronto to Hamilton, Ontario Canada. And it was not a cheap flight. Aside from the noxious CO2 emissions that Air Drake skeeted all up and through the atmosphere, it also cost almost $3,000 in fuel. Now, we all groan at these gas prices because it feels like we’re spending thousands of dollars at the pump. But in Drake’s case, it’s actually a true story.

The Celebrity Jets account had also tweeted that the rapper’s Boeing 767 had flown from Toronto Pearson Airport to Hamilton International Airport, which lasted just 14 minutes, and cost roughly $2,729 worth of fuel.

Because of this latest trip, Drake is now the celebrity who has expelled the most Co2 from a private plane. Take a bow Drake! Or better yet, take a bus instead. However, Drake is no fool. He understands that comparisons to oblivious environmental idiots like Kylie Jenner is not a good thing. So in an attempt to get ahead of his own cancellation, he came up with a response that seems logical to some. And by some, I mean just Drake, because he sounds like he barely cares with his own explanation.   He responded to the accusations by saying the flight was necessary because the plane was being moved from one storage unit to another. Billboard reports;

Drizzy hit back at the scandal by commenting on the Instagram page of @RealTorontoNewz, which also picked up the story. “This is just them moving planes to whatever airport they are being stored at for anyone who was interested in the logistics,” he wrote in the comments section, adding, “Nobody takes that flight.”

Really Drake? Nobody takes that flight? I’m sure someone was on there, like maybe, the pilot?? Nice try but the bottom line remains that your Happy Meal toy plane just did more damage to Mother Earth than your entire catalog of music ever has.
