Cardi B And Offset Gave $50K In Cash To Kulture For Her Fourth Birthday, And Cardi Claims They Don’t Use A Nanny
I suck at birthdays. The most you’ll ever get from me is a last-minute card from the drug store with message I scribbled on the subway with my purse-pen. But if I was a member of Cardi B and Offset’s family, I would need to drastically step up my game. Those two go all out! Cardi bought Offset a $600,000 Lamborghini for his 29th birthday, and for his 30th she presented him with a $2 million check. For Cardi’s last birthday, Offset got her a gigantic Playboy bunny diamond necklace reportedly worth $400K. They also go gift-wild for their kids; Kulture’s 4th birthday was this past Sunday, and Offset presented his daughter with $50,000 in cash. Aaand, this just in: she’s already lost it.
Here’s Offset’s Instagram Story where he gives Kulture the stack of cash. At first, Kulture is more concerned with getting her sticky little hands on some cotton candy. When she does get the 50K, she guesses it’s a “ticket.” Offset says “a ticket is a million” (Urban Dictionary confirms this), but was Kulture really trying to use that slang, or does she think her gift is a bunch of tickets for “Paw Patrol on Ice” (or whatever ice show the kids are obsessed with these days)??:

The family, including baby Wave, celebrated Kulture’s big day at Candytopia:

Last year Cardi got Kulture a diamond charm necklace for her birthday. When Kulture turned 2, Offset got her a $20,000 pink Birkin bag. Every time the couple gets their daughter an extravagant gift, they get a lot of criticism online. Cardi has said that if she’s looking like a “bad bitch, expensive bitch,” and her daughter looked like a “bum bum,” then we’d all be talking shit about her anyway.
In other Cardi B news, the 29-year-old rapper is on the cover of the latest issue of Vogue Singapore, looking like a blue-knit Mickey Mouse:

In the interview, Cardi claims that she’s never hired a nanny to help raise her kids, mostly because she’s too freaked out to leave them with a stranger, via Vogue Singapore:
“There weren’t a lot of artists out there who had babies at the beginning of their career. I didn’t have an album out when I found out I was pregnant,” she explains. “Everybody was so nervous for my career and future, but I kept telling them, ‘It’s easy. Trust me, I’m going to have a nanny and she’s going to travel up and down with me. It’s not even going to be a hassle’.”
Our cameras were not on during the call, but I could almost see Cardi shaking her head in disbelief. She let out a short snort. “When the baby got here, I couldn’t even think about getting a nanny because I was afraid of anybody being around her besides my family. I’ve never had a nanny for Kulture,” she says with an inward chuckle.
Cardi says she’s been blessed with a great support network, including Offset (um, I should hope!), her extended family, and her mother. But she won’t rely on her mom 24/7:
“Your parents have already lived their life and raised their kids. They are older and don’t have the same energy as someone in their 20s. I’m never far from my kids because that’s my responsibility as a mother.”
That and showering her babies with diamonds, cash, and Birkins. A mother’s duty!
