Doja Cat Has Quit Vaping After Getting Tonsil Surgery
It was just a few days ago that we saw Doja Cat celebrate her Best R&B Album win at the Billboard Music Awards by taking a sip from her drink and a hit off her beloved vape pen. But sadly, Doja and the vape are calling it quits for now. Maybe temporarily, maybe permanently – depending on how her left tonsil heals up after getting poked, prodded, and (aggressive dry heave) drained. Doja recently revealed that her tonsils got infected, and drinking wine and vaping didn’t help, so she was forced to get an emergency procedure to remove an abscess that decided to do a feature with the back of her throat.
Yesterday, Doja jumped on Twitter and wrote a series of tweets worthy of an episode worthy of Trauma: Life in the ER. She explained that a doctor had been forced to perform surgery on her left tonsil after it had become inflamed and infected. Which wasn’t too much of a shock to Doja, who had been on antibiotics to clear up a throat issue. But, that throat issue wasn’t resolving itself, thanks to Doja’s intake of wine and vaping at the Billboard Music Awards.

nah so my tonsils got infected before bbmas and i was taking fuckin antibiotics but forgot that i was taking them and then i drank wine and was vaping all day long and then i started getting a nasty ass growth on my tonsil so they had to do surgery on it today.

She added that she’ll be trying to get her tonsils removed very soon, which makes sense, considering it sounds like her tonsils don’t even want anything to do with her at the moment. Sadly, her relationship with her vape is nonexistent as well.

Doja explained that she was too scared to use her vape after the doctor carved up her tonsil like an Easter ham because her throat was hurting her so badly that she couldn’t hold back tears.

Sadly, Doja also says she’s pretty much addicted to vaping, and the only thing preventing her from hitting her vape a million times a day is that gooey wound in her throat. With that being said, she admitted to using her vape twice after her tonsil surgery, because it’s really hard to quit. And Doja’s throat situation could not have come at a worse time! Back in March, Doja was literally singing the praises of Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza. And right as Taco Bell brings that hot disc of messy, cheesy joy back, Doja can’t even eat one!

Maybe Taco Bell will help alleviate Doja’s throat issues by blending up a Mexican Pizza and serving it to her in a cup with a straw. Honestly, that doesn’t sound much grosser than some of their menu items.
