Open Post: Hosted By Doja Cat’s Musical Ode To Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza
Doja Cat is definitely a child of the Internet and she’s all about TikTok. HuffPo says that on TikTok, Doja shared a passionate jingle she wrote for Taco Bell’s currently-dead Mexican Pizza. Honestly, Doja could’ve just recorded herself farting into a microphone and that would’ve been a fitting tribute, but instead, she wrote lyrics and everything.
Last month, it was announced that Doja signed an endorsement deal with Taco Bell, so she didn’t exactly do a musical homage to the Mexican Pizza for free. Doja has been teasing her jingle, and last month, she said on TikTok that as part of her deal with Taco Bell, she had to write a jingle for the Mexican Pizza, saying, “I just want to give you a heads up before you see that shit. Just know, it’s contractual. I know it’s bad.”

I’m guessing that Taco Bell couldn’t afford Dolly Parton’s services. I mean, Dolly publicly asked Taco Bell to bring back the Mexican Pizza, so it would make sense if she did a Mexican Pizza jingle. Dolly wouldn’t even have to work that hard. She’d just have to change the lyrics of 9 to 5 from “working 9 to 5” to “pooping 9 to 5.” There you go. A jingle that perfectly captures the experience of eating a Mexican Pizza.
