JoJo Siwa And Her Soulmate Are Back Together
Last autumn Gay Cupid almost hung up his gay bow when JoJo Siwa and her girlfriend of less than a year, Kylie Prew, broke up. Noooo! They were supposed to be forever soulmates! The lesbian version of Heartstopper! But, don’t worry, KyJo-stans. Yesterday, 18-year-old JoJo shared the happy news that she and Kylie were back together. And just like that… Gay Cupid got his groove back.
Here’s JoJo’s post, which features new pictures (you can tell by the absence of JoJo’s ponytail [RIP]) of the reunited couple at Disney World, and the caption, “If you love something let it go, if it comes back…”:

This isn’t a total surprise. In November, JoJo went on Paris Hilton’s podcast and confirmed the split, but also revealed that she and Kylie were still best friends, via People:
“But she is literally still my best friend. I talked to her yesterday, she just got a new puppy. She’s awesome. She’s having the time of her life, I’m having the time of my life,” she continued. “I’m really lucky that I didn’t lose her completely because, you know, even though relationships end, friendships don’t have to end.”
Now, us old hags know that the “still besties” dynamic isn’t particularly conducive to staying broken up, but we gotta let the kids figure that out on their own.
In December there were rumors that JoJo was dating TikTok star Katie Mills after they were photographed sitting together at a Lakers game. Then, in March, JoJo told the press that she wasn’t single. Last month People reported that she and Kylie were still “talking a lot,” and, in an interview with Extra, JoJo said that she was “very much in love” and in a long-distance relationship (OMG, JoJo’s in LA and Kylie’s in Florida!). When asked if she and Kylie had reunited, this was JoJo’s official statement:
“I mean, listen, I will [answer this] one day. I’m not saying yes or no … I should have told her I was doing press today and asked her what she wanted me to say.”
If there’s one thing I know about on-and-off long-distance relationships between recently-out teenage lesbian “soulmates”, it’s this: Kylie and JoJo will be together forever. The next headline about this couple will read: “JoJo Siwa And Kylie Prew Wed At Disneyland, Consummate The Marriage At Disney World, And Honeymoon At The Tokyo Disney Resort!”
