The Trailer For “Jurassic World: Dominion” Is Here

The trailer for the third and final movie in the Jurassic World trilogy is here. And Jurassic World: Dominion brings back Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard who starred in the first two JW movies as burly ex-Navy, animal-researcher Owen Grady, and former deadly theme park Operations Manager, Claire Dearing. Jeff Goldblum who was in the first two Jurassic Park movies as Dr. Ian Malcolm and reprised his role in the second Jurassic World movie is also back. And so are OGs Sam Neill as Dr. Alan Grant and Laura Dern (with some great bangs) as Dr. Ellie Sattler. It doesn’t come out until June 10, so hopefully, by then, it’s safe to go to the theaters again so we can cheer on the dinosaurs as they take on Chris Pratt.

At the end of the second JW movie, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, genetically engineered dinos were auctioned off to companies around the world and other dinos were released on the U.S. mainland. Jurassic World: Dominion takes place four years later and shows humans living with dinosaurs. I mean, a T-rex interrupts a drive-in movie theatre! Can’t some couple have sex in their car in peace? There’s also Chris on a motorcycle in what looks like Italy racing away from a raptor, Bryce screaming in the face of a dinosaur screaming in her face, more running, dinosaurs demolishing large vehicles and ships–typical stuff! And of course, Laura’s bangs, which really steal the show with their brief but effervescent performance.

But for me, the best scene in the trailer is the one where Chris and DeWanda Wise are getting ready to fight off a dinosaur armed with a taser and a four-inch knife. Baby, you would need more than that to fight off a rabid fan’s mother at an Olivia Rodrigo show.

I mean, I do think it’s a bit unrealistic that people are just going about life as normal in this movie. We had a pandemic and people didn’t leave their house for a year, but when a tyrannosaurus is out and about y’all going to the drive-in? Get your priorities together!
